I'm still searching for my summer bag....

I like the Jennifer, but not those side flap pockets...any chance they are just attached to the belt, so I could remove them?

Thanks!

You can see the Jennifer at Kooba.com and other sites. In fact, I believe the taupe/brown one is still on the sale page. I'm with you, snarkygirl. I like the basice Jennifer shape and style but don't care for those side pockets that stick out.

I wish the search function was working - someone posted a pic of the bag when it was first released against a pic of a childrens' program character and the resemblance was hysterical!

Why would someone even do that^ I say that bag looks weird Which is a shame, cause in person it probably does look nice, if you could just remove those damn ears from the bag.

It DOES look weird, doesn't it?

I wonder if you can indeed slip them off the belt. I wouldn't mind carrying one or both of the pockets inside like a cell phone case kind of thing. But with them on the outside? Nah.

The side pockets on the little sister (Layla) of the Jennifer don't look quite as bad. I think that's because it's smaller - they just look totally weird to me on the taller bag.

Does anyone know of the side pockets on the Layla are removable?

It would be a nice looking bag without the pockets.

Still no answer...the NM people in charge of researching such questions will call me back....

As is, my grandmother truly wouldn't wear it to a dog fight.

Am I alone? I happen to like the brown ears.
