Default Is there something wrong with this Meredith?

Hi, I saw that this Kooba Meredith purse ended without a bidder and I contacted the seller who said she'd be willing to sell it to me for $99. I'm wondering if there's anything wrong with it though (other than it is missing the longer strap and has a pen mark and signs of wear)? I mean at $99 it seems like a steal. Thanks for your help!

Hi Janeatte....the Meredtih never for some reason was that popular. I had one in black. This one looks authentic, but that aside the leather on that line is very prone to getting scratched. I looked at all the pics and just my opinion, but it looks like it has a lot of scratches and maybe dingy/dirty also. That is a very light color. Not sure if that's ok with you. Since she didn't get a first bid, have you thought of offering her a little less? The Meredith leather however is very nice and smooth, and it's more of a glossy look.

I see it's gone? Did you buy it?

I agree w/ Ms. Lizardo- nothing looks off to me on this one either. It just was not very popular at all, not sure why.

Thanks for the input! You're right, since no one bid, I should offer a little less. I think I am going to get it. My plan is to buy a chain to put on it to make it look more like the Nina. Here is the chain

It may look horrible on the bag, but the chain is only $12, so I thought I'd try.

I notice she mentions that the clasp sometimes doesn't work. I have a Meredith and the clasps on these bags are a bit tricky to work anyway. I often leave mine open so that I reach in and easily grab my keys, etc. But it looks much nicer when it's closed.
