At first I thought "What?" but then seeing the results it turned out quite nice. I'm glad that you're happy with it.

LOL...Maybe I should set up a rival handbag service to the one that people send their bags off to be restored?
How about www. beatingmybags.com??? LOL! |

Halzer, you crack me up. I've gotta say though, I admire your bravery. I just hope the Vaseline is totally absorbed and doesn't transfer onto your clothes, especially when it's hot weather. Congrats on your 'new' bag, I really do think it looks fab.

WOW, what a difference - and a good one! Love the color now, and happy to hear you can use it!
I've been away for a long weekend without internet access, it's amazing what you miss in 3 days! |

Wow! Now Vaseline can add that to their list of what it can be used for... dry lips, baby rashes and to age bags! The new color looks great. What was the old color? Oak? I'm surprise it's orangey. I always thought it was a light/med brown. I have the Brynne in black, and I love it. Hey now you have the one-of-the-kind Brynne.

BabyK... the old colour was camel, which was quite orangey in real life.

Thanks for forwarding me this post, Halzer. I asked her for info on her Vaseline experiment as I also have a Brynne, but in Oak, that I want to darken. It looks just like yours so maybe the tag was wrong on mine and it is really the camel? I am afraid to use Vaseline though, because the grease might somehow change with age and damage the leather, or it might transfer to clothing. I already applied leather conditioner, and now it is soft as a baby's butt, but not dark. What else can I use? Anyone have any ideas?
