Default Has anyone treated their terraine bags?

I am wondering if I can clean, condition and then protect a terraine bag. I have all the wilson's products to do it.

I don't own a terraine bag but have used the products from the site lovinmybags.com and it has done an amazing job and conditioning and protecting all my Koobas, it is the only stuff I will use on them now.

I've only used Wilson's leather protector on my Terraine bag and it did great.

I'm glad to hear that Wilson's will work just fine on Terraine leather as I will be treating my nieces Carla before giving it to her. I have treated all my Koobas with Wilsons and swear by it, too. However, I have a question to ask...(and please don't throw rocks at me as I do still love my Koobas)..I recently bought a Linea Pelle and the leather is quite different from Koobas in that it is more of a "washed" soft leather. Do any of you gals have a LP bag that you have treated with Wilsons? The leather seems more fragile in a way and I'm concerned how well it handle the protectant spray. Many thanks...

I dont' own a JP...yet. Does it have any leather on the interior. I would wet a small area inside and see what happens.

My Sister had a Dylan Messenger and we did Wilson's to it. Darkened it ever so slightly. I know what you mean about that washed leather seemimg delicate.

I have several LP bags and I've not treated any of them for the same reason - the washed leather seems delicate. I think I'm going to try and do the ones from this past season that have that extra square of leather that comes with the tag.

Ciatta- did your LP come the leather tag as well?

I had a terraine Carla that I sold last year and I treated her with Wilson's also. Worked beautifully.

Hey, good idea! Yes, it did come with that little leather LP hangtag. That's what I'll do, spray the tag and I'll let you gals know how it turns out. I've been so happy with the way that Wilsons protects handbags that now I worry about using a bag that is untreated. I'm down here in hot, humid and rainy Sarasota, Florida where the rains can be torrential. I don't know what's worse...that or the fact that I'm so clumsy.

Just an update on using Wilsons TLC on Linea Pelle leather. I sprayed the hangtag per KoobaMe's suggestion (which was a great idea!). This leather is so soft that it seems to absorb it in a different way than my Kooba bags. It's not a uniform distribution of the spray upon somewhat close inspection and even not so close inspection. I'm really unsure what to do. I'm probably making too much of the issue as probably no one else would notice, especially in time. However, if I don't use it I know that I run the risk of possibly ruining the bag in the rain or an "accident". I have posted a question to other LP owners in another thread asking them if have used a protector and their results. We'll see what they have to say. (I still love my Kooba's!)
