Hi Everyone,
I'm back....I apologize that it's been a little while. We've had so much going on here at kooba. Have you seen our new website? We also just launched footwear for Spring, which will be in stores in February. It's been a crazy 2 months since I last visited, but I'm here now and ready to talk to you.
Hope to talk to you soon.

Would Lovin' My Bags cleanser be appropriate? Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Hi Kooba Me,
We don't have any direct experience with Lovin' My Bags cleanser, so we would recommend that you test a small area before you actually start cleaning the entire bag with it.
Let us know how it goes!
Best,

What 'kind' of leather is it?What do I put on it to condition/clean as time goes on? Is this leather susceptible to color transfer from jeans--and if so--how to remove? I know--so many questions--but thanx in advance for answering..!!!
Hi,
Yes, it is a coating, and it is cow. Since it already has a coating on it, we do not recommend you treating it with anything else. As with any light-colored bag, this bag could be susceptible to color transfer from jeans or dirt. To remove it, you can first try a damp cloth, and if that doesn't work, please take it to your local dry cleaner for suggestions.
Hope that helps!

Is there any way to prevent this from occurring? This has never happened to any other leather bag I have and all my other Kooba bags are either patent leather or black.

Thank you.
Hi,
Extra care should be taken with light-colored, vegetable-tanned leathers as they may react to prolonged sun or water exposure. Prior to exposure, you may want to treat the bag with a leather protectant.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
No, you don't need leather protectant for this leather. Due to the coating on the leather, the rain should not affect it.

Hi,
Did you think I wasn't coming back?
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I'd be happy to answer them as best as I can.
I'll be checking in over the next couple of days and then again in September.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Default Care for New Kooba Dale and Kate
Hi,
I am a new fan of Kooba bags. I have a New Dale in Luggage, and Kate in Black. Love them!

I believe I don't need or want to treat them with anything to start out-Is this correct?

Can you tell me what kind of leather "cleaner or polish" you would recommend over time?

And if the bags get wet-how should I care for them?

Thanks- and I am really looking forward to seeing the NEW SHOE line in February!

Hi, Ask Kooba! Thanks for checkin in! We diehard Kooba fans would like to know if any of the older styles just might be making a comeback. That would be truly awesome! i would give anything for a Brynne, Marcelle, Jessie or another Sienna.

Kooba -

I would love, love, love to see a bag made out of the thick, crinkly leather that you used on the original Paige's, but in the perfect elephant grey shade.
