I see that the Braedon sold. I took a good look at it, and would have to agree that the leather and color are what I see as questionable, although it doesn't look as bad as most fakes. The lining looks fine. I'm wondering if this is a sample though, since the woven ones were done in this color?

I know. Usually a fake Braedon is easy to spot but all the detail and stitching on this bag looks great. Anyone else???

I asked the seller some questions when the listing first showed up, can't even remember what they were now, but I decided the bag was iffy.

Right now I am so disgusted with all the fake Koobas on Ebay that I am listing parts of my collection one by one. I am not so proud to carry them now, I see sellers list with one photo, no style name or color name and buyers are just all over them like flies on you know what.

I feel zero pride in carrying a Kooba anymore, thanks to replicas and scammers that Ebay allows and encourages. I'm ready to shop for another brand.

I'm new to Kooba and am wondering if this Tess looks real. Looks like stock photos... not a big seller. Hmmm.

Authentic Tess?

I'm curious, this looks nothing like my Espresso. Did Kooba have more than one Sienna Espresso using different types of leather on each?

Kooba Sienna in Espresso Fall 2006 Collection MSRP $625 - eBay (item 180386441347 end time Jul-28-09 09:38:01 PDT)

Not sure about that, but that is an authentic Sienna..The seller has a good reputation and at one time sold quite a lot of Koobas in their heyday.

It's authentic no doubt but it's not Espresso. It's Teak from the heavy pebbled line of Siennas (like Raisin and Bourbon) and it's a pretty funky one at that.

Thanks for answering my question re: the Sienna listed as Espresso but really Teak. I would have never come up with Teak. I'm so glad we have you here to fill in the blanks for us.

Yes, I do remember when Scenery was selling them right and left, then acquired a new User ID on Ebay and sold books having to do with gambling tips and some other strange things, I think the ID was Prequalified.

Nice to see she is back and listing oldies but goodies.

Hi Redskater and welcome to the world of Kooba! That purse is called the Rachel and is not from Winter 2009. I don't even think Winter 2009 has been released yet so i have no idea what she she talking about. The Rachel in purple, i believe, is from Fall 2008. I do like the shape though and I recall another lady on this forum had purchased the Rachel in purple and really liked hers.

Default Help I need to decide Which Kooba to Get!!!
Help! I am having a hard time deciding between two Kooba bags! I had the Marlo and then the hardware broke and it cannot be repaired (that is what Nordstrom told me!) It was a 30th birthday gift from my husband and so I want to get another Kooba. I bought two Koobas and I am trying to decide which one to keep (I can't afford them both!). I have the Leighton and the Kristie. I have put the links below. I am trying to decide which one will be more classic and stay in style. I have them both in black. The Kristie bag looks similar to the Marlo but has some patent leather on it and the Leighton is just so unique and beautiful. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Kristie looks like a keeper to me.
