^^^ Honestly, I don't think the seller is going to get a 'bad impression' of all tPF members because a buyer waited a matter of hours to pay. The seller's listed policy requires payment within 3 days and the auction only ended this afternoon. I've run across a number of tpf members both as sellers and buyers whose manner was less than impressive but it doesn't turn me off all other members. If she backed out because it was indeed fake I'd not be so concerned about the seller and what they may have thought about members here.

Vesna: I'm sure you already know that it's better to be safe than sorry by having an item authenticated prior to purchase. I'm glad you stopped to ask before you made payment. It's a lovely bag and I hope you enjoy it.

Please post pics when you get it and share your thoughts!

Thanks a lot KoobaMe. I will post pics when I get it and add to my collection of dear bags. The leather looks so beautiful, and the design is very interesting. I wish it were Dylan, though, because I like larger bags, but perhaps the size of this bag will help me cut the amount of stuff I "must" carry with me Cheers Vesna

I agree. If the bag did turn out to be fake we don't give a flip what the ebay sellers thinks of us TPF members. Thankfully the bag seems great. And a nice price. Most likely it is one of the slew of these style bags sold recently on Gilt/RueLala type sales. At least this seller didn't try to gouge the bidder on the rebuy price.
Enjoy your bag. I had a Jackie in this similar style and it was a lovely bag.

I agree. Regarding those that gouge, I was surprised at the prices for some of the Gilt items. Must also say I was pleased to see so many being relisted over and over because of that. The nice thing about visiting some of the online sales is that you know approximately when those items will be showing up on the bay and which sellers are the ones to do business with.

that is so nice to hear, I was worried a bit because after admiring the bag on the auction (I felt it was genuine, looks yummy and gorgeous leather from the pics), I browsed around and found that they were faked....great to hear about nice sellers. I will post the bag as soon as I get it. Cheers, vesna

Default I own a Michels-Drew Bag
Hi,

I came across your post while trying to find the era during which my late grandmothers handbag was manufactured. It is black velvet with floral printing and in glorious condition considering it's age. I recently used the purse during a trip to NYC and receive several compliments.

I feel like we're related through this purse.

Hi:
Wow - the pictures are so bad who knows what's up with that bag. Bad lighting, too far away to look at the leather, no tissue to show the real shape of the bag, etc. Frankly, when a seller can't be bothered to show clearly detailed pics of a bag I avoid it.

I'm not as good spotting Kooba fakes as I am with Coach...I've been dreaming of the eden bag for ages (brown suede). I just found this one on ebay and want to know if y'all think it's real or not

Wow, I can't believe that went unsold, someone could have picked that up at $175.00. Do you think the fact that the suede looked spotted in places had anything to do with it? Or, is it a seasonal thing? Summer and all, too early?

Default Anyone seen this bag before?
Hi all,

Has anyone seen this bag before? I'm assuming it's fake, since it looks like the Scarlett but is missing some key details. Just wondering if there's an authentic version as well.

Thanks!
