The bag is real however and looks to be Desert color.
But that's why God invented Hallak's!

Check out their handbag blog...nice before and afters.

Why oh why can't Kooba reissue this bag? Oh me, oh my... I just don't enjoy the new ones as much. They are lovely--just not what I'm looking for. :(

Have you used them before? Would you recommend them? I've been looking for someone to clean my kooba talia in white. Darn kooba and making fabulous bags in white LOL

That comparable to LovinMyBags that many of us use. But LMB can be expensive 125-200 bucks to restore bags plus shipping.

Hey there--I have not personnally used them, but I've heard their work is top notch. I don't know where you are--they're in NYC and north NJ. If you're in the area, I would suggest checking it out. As Lexie noted, many members use LMB, but it's pretty costly. You can send Hallak's your needed info and they'll send you back an estimate.

Default Questioned authenticity of Kooba on eBay, got nasty reply

Click here: AUTHENTIC Large KOOBA Sienna in Brown Leather - eBay (item 260277164412 end time Aug-26-08 19:11:46 PDT)
Hi,
I was shopping for Koobas on eBay and saw this Sienna that wasn't quite right. I emailed the seller and mentioned that the Kooba logo plates seemed crooked and I got a "How dare I question the authenticity" kind of reply. By the way, on the listing it says that it was purchased "wholesale" and in the email from the seller she said that it was from "Neiman's". I'd appreciate any feedback from members about this bag. I am starting to feel a responsibility to report fraudulent sellers.
Thanks

From the side shot the bag appears to be real with the proper leather. Fake Ada's are mostly found because of their horrid looking plasticky leather so this looks good. I'm thinking the bag may be more worn that described. It appears pretty used in the main photo. That is the only concern but for the price, it can't be beat, if it stays there.

No way would I chance that. These bags were heavily faked and the seller also has sold a Valentino bag very cheap that are also featured on fake sites. The straps look overly long and the auction looks pretty generic.

Hi ladies - I thought I would post this question in the correct thread. Just checking.... Would a black Sienna have a lilac lining or tan? I'm just a little confused because that seller who had the authentic white Sienna with lilac interior also has a black Sienna with tan interior. Thanks

Mine has a dark tan (almost mushroom) color. It could be either depending the year. One was from the Resort line. Not all are created equally. Look for a lightly distressed bag with lightly creases lines and a glossy sheen. Some are not as nice and are rather pebbly although not as much as the heavily pebbled Siennas of 2006.
