Lunaty, it's a stunning awful FAKE. Please avoid, it's nothing like an authentic Kooba Ginger, which has far superior leather and overall quality.

Cool thanks for that, it has closed in the mean time and i have kept my hands of :) but unfortunately it sold for $154 to some poor bugger...

I have never had the chance to see and feel one in real life so it makes it a bit harder to judge i just thought it looked kinda dodgy too

Lunaty, I had a gorgeous black Ginger a while back and still have a tobacco Ginger. The real deal is definitely worth waiting for. There are a few of us here who are more familiar with the older style Koobas and happy to authenticate, so feel free to post any that you see.

I forgot to mention that Gingers do NOT come with plastic wrapping on the plaits. Mine came with a tube of white paper over the tassels.

Hi and welcome! I'm not a Kooba expert......I mostly hang out on the LV thread, but I happened upon your post and thought maybe I could provide some assistance. You need to post the eBay link of the item here for the experts to review. Simply pull up the item, put your cursor on the address line and right click on your mouse (this will bring up a menu) select copy, which will copy the link in the address line.....then come here, start a post and right click in the body of your post to paste the link. I hope I've helped and not confused you further! Good luck!

Looks OK to me, but I would ask for a photo of the inside zipper pull (from the side, showing it go from thinner to thicker), just to be sure!
