I had a good experience with PayPal, which refunded my money (not for a handbag). I don't think a CC is an advantage with PayPal, since the CC company may use PayPal's prior decision, too. You'd be better off notifying the Internet Fraud Complaint-something-(IFCC). CarolDiva.com has a link.

They may, but judging by the many threads on this over on the TPF eBay forum (thankfully I haven't had to deal with this myself), many times a credit card company will allow a chargeback when PayPal will not. American Express in particular is mentioned as being more "consumer-friendly."

Now, the flip side of this is that honest sellers have been defrauded by people doing credit card chargebacks. But as a buyer, it's nice to have two layers of protection.

Hi can someone please tell me if this Koobie Mattie is authentic. I am not familiar with this bag but have a big itch to buy this and like the way it looks BUT DO NOT WANT A FAKE. So any input would be great. Also if you own one if you could tell me the pros and cons of the bag IYO would help. I really like the color of this one and have been watching for one on eBay just don't want to end up with a fake and have to deal with the whole getting my money back. Thanks and please see the link below.

The pics look pretty good... However - the seller only has 2 feedback's as a seller, which I would consider too risky to proceed for a $400 purchase. With only that amount of feedback, you have very little history to go on. In my opinion, you could probably get a better deal from a more established seller if you wait a while and set up an automatic daily search for an Elisha.

Looks good. I would request pics of the interior zipper pull though, a side shot so you can see the graduated thickness. From what I remember, that bag and its sister styles had quite a bit of color/leather variation, and that seems consistent with her pics too. Again, you could probably get a better deal on this bag if you don't need to buy right away. Good luck!

Hi my lovely Kooba experts!

I am loving this Marcelle in green but I don't know enough about the bag to tell if it's authentic. Does it look ok? Or is anyone familiar with this seller?

Thanks all!

Thanks, Minimouse! She sure is purty. I'm still debating whether to take the plunge.

Thanks for your opinion, I am pretty sure this bag is real and asked for PIC, it looed good of the zipper. Do you think if I hold out and it doesn't sell she may list it again for a bit less? The price is a little steep, I did agree with that when I saw it, would like it around $50.00 cheaper at least. Let me know what you think and thanks for answering it did help. The auction ends really soon, thanks a bunch@.....
