Well the little bit that I've gathered is that the lilac suede is newer. So I thought maybe that serious pebble happened later too. Or maybe it's a different leather? Like lamb or something?

The sienna in question is very soft and really nice. It's an incredible fake if it is not authentic. I am really stuck in the middle. It's nice, but not as nice as the one I had.

I don't think the pebble is cookie cutter. It's soft and squishy which makes me think it could be real.

I just am not a Kooba expert! That's why I need you guys <3! I really don't know on my own!

Thanks Lexie for all your help! I'm definitely trying to learn!

Boy, if I didn't already have a Marcelle in Desert I'd be all over this.

I know some folks who either haven't enjoyed or had good experiences with bags in Desert leather but my Desert Marcelle has held up beautifully as my 'go to' bag. Truly one of my all time favorite Koobas and it has gotten the most use this year. The leather is so smooshy and wonderful and for me it's the equivalent of Felix's bag of tricks - everything is in there! I can't believe what I can throw in it and carry comfortably.

Soft and squishy can very well be fake. What I mean by cookie cutter is....Is all the pebbling very uniform with no variation from spot to spot. Or does it look more like a cut out peice of printed fabric? Real leather like skin is not all the same texture and look from place to place. Check the inside bit of lining of leather. Probably taken from a seperate peice of leather. Does it look exactly like the outer leather? Do you see what I mean. The skin on your outter hand looks different than the softer skin on your inner forearm. A cow's leather (or Lamb) is not going to follow an exact appearance.

I thought this bag was already sold but maybe it was returned or a non paying bidder. Nice color Kendall.

Yeah, I thought that Kendall sold to a girl in Singapore. Maybe it didn't work out or maybe it's another one.

Oooooh I might have to watch this. I have a desert Scarlett, and although the size is a lil' bit small for me, I love the desert colour, especially when its more 'used'

This seller is coming out with some gems!

I've bought a couple bags from this seller. They were both authentic.

Exactly! She breaks in and ages so beautifully.

I'm enjoying the heck out of her auctions and seeing what other rare beauties she pops up with.

Kooba Josie for 196 and there is a code (Grechen) that will give you 20% off. Makes it reasonable.

Wow! I think that price is a teeny bit high right now.
