That black Ada is gorgeous. I remember buying a bourbon Ada from this seller a couple of years ago and it was fabulous. I've gotta say, she's the most honest and wonderful seller I've ever come across. Anyone who buys this Ada won't be disappointed. If I wasn't in the heat of the Middle East eleven months of the year, I'd buy it. It's definitely Kooba at its best. |

It's a scary scary thing when things like this happen. New ebayers bid to ridiculous prices and then.....buyers remorse.

Lexie, that bag is gorgeous. I sold my like new Ada for like $150 about two years ago- I thought Kooba would keep making gorgeous bags and they didn't. I wish I could have my ada bag. SOB!

Lexie, you say 'ridiculous' but it's not far off what the original retail price was anyway, so for a bag that's impossible to find in such amazing condition, it's really not ridiculous. A bag is worth what a buyer is prepared to pay and obviously you've got two bidders who are desperate for a gorgeous black Ada. Who can blame them, yours is fabulous. Plus, personally, I'd pay a bit extra to buy from a seller I know is honest and genuine.
I miss the Kooba forum, but a lot of us moved on due to the newer Koobas being, well, awful and poor quality. I miss the good old Kooba days when Ada, Jillian, Lucy, Marcelle, Taylor, Renee, Farah, Jessie, Paige and Ginger were all the rage (and rightly so). In order to remain on topic, Lexie's Ada is authentic!

^ Minimouse, you are so right! Old-school Koobas are divine!
After reading everyone's comments about vintage Koobas, I started stalking e-bay looking for a Brynne. I boughta camel one, and although I would prefer a different color, the leather is soooo soft. I had to start stalking e-bay for more. Then, I bought a black lucy - which I can't stop petting - and this week I purchased the Taylor. I'm on a complete ban now! BTW, thanks for authenticating my purchase Minimouse and Lexie! ![]() The leather on that Ada is beautiful! |

I hear you ladies....I too loved the companionship of the Kooba forum, when they were in their heyday. I must admit though I pulled out quite a few of my old school Koobas, and am still amazed at the quality.
Parted with all my Sienna's, but I cannot bring myself to part with anymore. Ms. Brynne's, and all the Lucy's are staying home. Maybe years down the road no one will even recognize them, but they are divine bags and I am so glad to have them. I so enjoyed this forum then and finding all you lovely ladies...*sigh* |

I not part of the old forum but I learned All I needed to know about kooba from all of you lovely ladies. So I miss all the old styles ( even though I don't own most of them) and I thoroughly enjoyed the thread "pictures of your koobas" you guys taught me all I needed to know. Sorry I'm off topic in this thread, but wanted to say THANKS!
Ps. Glad to know I'm not the only one who "pets" her handbags, you know they'd purr if they could! |

This bag is absolutley gorgeous! Same leather as the Smooth Black Sienna. A Natalia in great condition. It's from a great TPFer too so you can trust the deal.
