I too wish these bags had went to some of those who never had the pleasure of getting an old good Kooba. Pure Greed. They know how wanted they are so they try to bait you knowing how hard they are too find with a huge price tag.

Lexie, I couldn't agree with you more. To make some money is ok but to hold them for ranson is another. I know, it's up to the buyer if the price is worth it..tempting, but not that much.

I just saw that a few minutes ago, what a mess that bag is. I have a feeling the seller has no clue it is a knockoff.

Am I the only one who is amazed at the horrible condition some of the pre-owned Kooba bags are in? I mean the ones listed on Ebay by newer sellers? I know accidents can happen but some of these bags look and read like they were in a war. Makes me wonder what the sellers other things look like.

Sorry for my ignorance - I can see that the bag looks pretty messy, specially those laces, but how can you tell it is fake, is it the texture of the leather?

^^ It's the texture of the leather, which is pebbly-grainy in the pictures. The black Marcelle bags are the same leather as the smooth black Sienna, the Claudia, and the Lucy - smooth with some texture (all lambskin) and a hint of sheen.

A NWT Ginger has shown up. Don't know if the seller got it at the recent RC sale but it's definitely a good price. Needs more pics though.

organicgal: the leather on the black Ginger is very similar if not the same as the black Marcelles.

Edit: For some reason when I insert the url to make a link it's doubling up on itself and not showing correctly. Anyhoo, you can do a search for it on the 'bay.

Yes KoobaMe if it is from Revolve it looks like a more reasonable profit since the bag was on sale for $159. The other sellers should be ashamed of themselves. I agree on the more pics needed.

I just bought a Kooba Ginger in Black at an estate sale in Edmonds, WA this weekend. It is new with tags and I got the receipt too from Neimans! I am so excited to finally own my First Kooba! When did Kooba make the Ginger? I do not see it on any websites for sale...Thanks for taking the time to answer.
