I haven't got any other Koobas (yet!) and I haven't got any RM to compare BUT I do have lots of BE!
![]() The Rachel feels heavier than all of my BEs (but I don't own a TMA or an LM, which I think would be the heaviest models? ). The biggest BE I've got is the I'm Yours tote, which is still a bit lighter than my Kooba Rachel.I think the leather on the Rachel might be heavier (?), and the hardware is brass (unlike BEs) which I'm sure also adds to the weight a bit. That said, it's not really heavy, it's just comparatively heavier and I've been comfortably wearing mine non-stop!

For other brands, I can compare to Isabella Fiore and Linea Pelle. My 2 IF bags are much heavier than my Kooba Rachel (IF jenny spellbound hobo, and smitten mitten hobo). My Linea Pelle bags are lighter than my Kooba Rachel. I have a Linea Pelle Dylan Patchwork tote, and large Sydney. I heart Linea Pelle so much!! Love the soft and smooshy leather. It reminds me of the "old" Kooba - my original Sienna bag was very soft and smooshy. For the most part the weight of the Rachel doesn't bother me. However over the xmas season a couple times when I was shopping it did start to hurt me and get annoying. But usually, for day-to-day, it's okay weight for me. I am tall and size 10/12. |

I have a Rachel and love it. I was given it as a gift last year for my BD.
