That's my initial reaction, yes. She listed it too low, I grabbed it and she had second thoughts. She wrote to me:
//Hi, I am realy sorry, but I have to cancel this sell. I had a problem in the storage where I had my merchandise. I lost my merchandise together with this purse. I just realized this morning. I am really sorry for this inconvenience, but there's no way I can find the purse and my merchandise. I haven't used any of the money you paid for this purse. I usually use the money, after I shipp the items. Would you please be so kind to answer my request to ebay, to cancel this transaction. I will go and make a total refund to your account, at soonest you agree to cancel this sale. Again I apologize for this inconveninece.
Thank you//
I'd love to do a negative but won't because she did refund the money. I'd love to do a NEUTRAL but am hesitating because I have a perfect (almost 900) rating one eBay and vindictiveness would hurt me. And as I'm sure you all know, vindictive behavior is--sadly--not unknown on eBay.
She had current photos of the Kooba. They weren't stock. The NM tag was still on it. But now, you "lose" it? 'Scuze me?
I'm going to sit on my hands for a few days and maybe leave a neutral. But I do fear retaliation. EBay just sent me an email today thanking me for 14 years (FOURTEEN!) of patronage. I hate to blow that...
Thanks, Cyn, for your commiseration. It helps...
