This is simply awful. I'm sad that the seller was duped for $300 but I'm even more sad at the thought she might now know her Lucy is fake and is trying to sell it on. Simply awful and I hope no one buys.

I cannot tell you how fabulous the silver Lucy is - WHEN IT'S REAL! You know...there's no denying it.....and what makes it so fabulous is that don't look foolish wearing such a metallic color - something about the leather that they used.....
In any case, so long as we can educate everyone around here about fakes, I can only assume that someone that doesn't do their homework will snatch that one up! I would say something to the seller, but I've just discovered that kind of stuff is usually a bad idea. Besides, I'm not the eBay police....and it usually just pisses the hell out of people....

I wouldn't say anything to the seller either, but I do think it's worth reporting these. I don't report every fake I see, but the particularly bad ones or the ones that really bug me for some reason, I do report. It's easy to do (just click the link at the bottom of the page). Sometimes they do nothing, but sometimes they do pull the listing, particularly if there are a lot of complaints about it.

Oh no! I don't think so!!!??? I would hate to think that!!! I still have my bronze baby sitting new in the closet! Maaayyybe she MIGHT come out in 2012? There's NO WAY that you could think it's real if it's fake, you know? It's like the silver....the leather is just well......no one on ioffer or some other fake site could duplicate it.......

I agree on the silver Lucy Jchiara....the leather is so soft and the color so muted and soft that you're right you can totally wear it with anything. I am so lucky my BF got me one for Christmas. I had him trained on what questions to ask and what to look for. LOL

I emailed them and told them they're selling a fake too. It's one of those dropoff places...just said "if you're selling a fake, you're also opening yourself up to a SNAD complaint as well...."
We'll see what happens.....
