Look at this website! This is scary. Take a look at the Lena. It's a pretty darn good fake. They take pride in making Koobas in European leather.

This very well may be an authentic bag, but I've never seen one before. Lexie? Have you ever come across one like this?

A few years ago, there was a documentary on TV here in the UK, about designer labels and a reason why they are so alike the real thing.
There were certain production facilities, who manufacture the "real" deal during the daytime. The facility would operate a moonlight situation, and a different workforce would come in, use the same materials and produce the same products. I wish I could remember the details and find some more info. but I cannot remember the intricate detail. But, it does make you wonder when you see fakes which are almost identical. |

Hmm..is it like those factories where they make pickles and stuff like that? I heard that the generic brands are the exact same as the brand names - and made in the same factory, just with a different label. Maybe the fakers took a page from the pickle people?

![]() http://kooba.en.ecplaza.net/10.asp Thank God I bought mine from Active Endeavors! Do you think they photograph real ones and try to pass them off as ones they manufacture? You never know, right? |

WIth all of these bags there's always something that is off. When I saw that ADa in Woven I knew it was a fake. It just screamed Fake. What might have been harder was the carla but look at the braiding, it's tighter then the Real Kooba Carlas. And why would anyone buy a Kooba and think it is real if the company never even released in that color? Hello,...yellow suede ginger Kooba?

LOL-I saw that last night. Pretty color, dont'cha think?
It might be helpful & educational to list all the actual colors Sienna did come in. They did do some bright colors, like the burnt orange. But the light blue & gray suede (that people actually bid on), and this blue leather wouldn't be on that list! |

What really bothers me about this listing is this fake bag listing seller has perfect feedback and over 200 transactions!
