Simply put, the post that you highlighted does not have your name, nor anyone else's name, for that matter on it. Moreover, if you can read, you will note that sentence number one indicated that my prose were not TO anyone. There is a faction of people who collect clothes, homes, cars, jewelry, china, whatever and never utilize the stuff. That's their perrogative and it is fine with me. Frankly, I could care less what others do who are not in my circle. I was indicating that "I" am on the other end of the spectrum in that I utilize ALL of MY stuff. It doesn't make me better nor worse just different. My post received the response that I was looking for from the people who are like minded. If you are of a different mind, and since the post did not call your name, you should have ignored it. Also, what you may want to do is peruse this thread and check the tone of my posts. I am not one to start crap and I'll be darn if I'm the one to take it. God bless you and have a good day.

By loeh's do you mean loehmanns? Because I went to one today (they had the skateboard charm) and they had a sign that said that if you find something and it's not in your size, they will get it from another store if they can! I should have asked, but, maybe this means if one of us sees a charm, we can get someone to hold it (because I know they do holds, I've seen them do it) and then get someone to ship it to another store...? Just a though! And I know what you mean, i really want the acorn too! I saw it on someones bal accessory and I 'd it but figured it was wayyyy old at that point...I had no idea that it might still be floating around!

GoldenLeopardLady - That was worded very well. I tend to be a cross between a "saver" and using my stuff. I aspire to be more like you and enjoy ALL my things. I only have 2 Juicy charms that I purchased a week ago. I haven't worn them yet cause I've been sick and not out anywhere. But I do plan on wearing them! Unfortunately, I have several LV bags not worn yet but at least they hold their value and do not go out of style. It is always interesing to read about the differences in people with wear and care of jewelry, bags, and clothing. No one is better than another - we're all just different! People should do what brings them the most satisfaction and enjoyment of their things.

Thank you Hokaplan. What charm is next on your "to get" list? Me, I think I really like the Genie Lamp. I didn't get it when Shirley & company had it so I'm going to have to wait. Hopefully I won't miss out. If so, then I'll have to think that it wasn't meant for me. :)

I finally managed to get the white ice cream cone charm today (super cheap, too!) to complete my "ice cream" charms collection lol. That includes...
*Banana Split
*Pink Ice Cream Cone w/cherry
*Old Gelato Cone
*White Ice Cream w/multicolored stones (awaiting arrival)
*Red, White & Blue Ice Pop
*Pink, Green, Yellow Ice Pop

The ice pops are my mom's (not that I don't borrow them ) but that completes it until they release that double popsicle...*crosses fingers that they will*

Goldenleopardlady, I meant the post in a joking, lighthearted manner, definitely did not think you would take it seriously. So sorry it was misinterpreted, if you look at the tone of my previous posts you will also see that I have nothing but positive things to say since I joined tpf. No crap intended, actually thought you would come back with a joke. If I can amend the post I will. Guess I'm not as funny as I thought.

thank you for responding and your suggestion. i had found one about a month ago, but they wouldn't ship unless i was there in person to purchase. (to which i wanted to say, well if I could do that, i wouldn't need you to to ship!! ) oh well, the search continues. (just got to avoid the bay when it comes to the beehive or acorn as they had fakeys of those)

pixie: for what its worth, I could tell your post was tongue-in-cheek. its hard to "hear" inflections in people's voices when they write, ... but between the happy faces blowing bubbles and the "smidgeons" of dust... i was able to read the humor.

Really so sorry, I thought I was being hilarious and just made it sound all wrong. Actually love your philosophy of life and was poking fun at myself over the OCD thing and never wanting to touch my charms. You should check it out! I especially love the LV speedy inclusion charm in white with the colored cyrstals. A new one for my want list. You have to think rich on this forum!

I wish you guys luck in finding the acorn - I saw a couple at Nordie's not so long ago and thought it was unusual because you don't see them very often. I did see one on the bay this week going for quite a few $.

So, I'm not keeping up and I am way behind. But I know someone wanted the cupcake earrings on here and wanted to say that I saw them on sale at the juicy store here in Huntsville, AL. Not sure if you're close to here or could call them and see about getting them. And I don't know what the sale was...haha, I'm not very helpful I guess.

Anyways, you guys need to slow down! Haha, I can't keep up!
