We always close threads that are too long and start a new one. That is customary
![]() Is there a picture only reference thread for Juicy charms? That could be really helpful for people trying to look at pictures and know about them etc. We could start that and have no chatter in that thread. Thoughts? |

^Yup there's a picture thread with no chatter started a year ago by sweet_pees:
Post Photos of your Juicy Couture Charms Here! And lol we knew a thread closure was imminent, we thought it would happen at 5k posts like the others but it was never closed. This thread was actually started by bellavino in anticipation of the closure of the other thread.

Glad I was able to find you guys! I was in a panic for a few minutes. Anyways, I was coming to tell you guys that Nordies site has the masquerade mask on sale right now if anyone is looking for it. I think everyone that wanted it may have gotten it, but it's a good deal for anyone else looking!
Also wanted to tell you guys that I saw Juicy charm bracelet at the TJ Maxx's here if anyone is looking for one to wear their charms on. I don't know much about their bracelets and hardly recall what it looked like, but remember that it was a pretty plain one. Anyways, you might want to look there if you're interested/are able to! |

I don't think that ANY of the JC Charm girls have ever been hostile to a new person. If anything everyone is very welcoming. I think the problem lies within people jumping into the thread with a negative or disparaging comment toward another member. I am sad to see the old one closed, especially since it had a TON of information in there. If someone is looking for the no-chatter thread, it's available in the pictures section. Always has been and has absolutely nothing in it apart from charms and charm information. This thread is full of friends and like every other thread on this board, we occasionally run off topic for a page or two. If that's cause to move the whole thread to the Chatter Box (where new collectors won't find it) then I believe you'll find a lot of people who will no longer be comfortable with the friendly conversations we've always had in here, for fear of having the thread moved elsewhere for being "off topic." And to whomever was doing the reporting -- really?? Was it bothering you THAT much? We provide endless amounts of resources and information for the sheer fun of it and the favor is returned by tattling when we take a second to talk about something else? Eventful morning everyone must have had. eBay wrote back to me, even after the Live help, and said that I need to conatct VeRo, which I ALREADY DID!! Exasperating. I'm washing my hands of it.. the seller contacted me via e-mail this morning and revised the sled auction, so I'm just going to leave it alone. He did apologize and thanked me for putting the blog together, which was nice. I called my Juicy boutique to ask about the cherries again (they were supposed to call me back last week but didn't) and they don't have them. Arggghh!! If anyone spots them, can you PM me a number? I'm going to try my Nordie's tomorrow but they hadn't even gotten the Panda/Carousel/Pretzel/Balloon charms in yet. |

Hey everybody.Hi to the new addicts & nice to see the veterans!
Kayyle-My fav is the Hot Air Balloon...and (gasp) had to give my charms away!!! The HORROR!!! GLL-Hey Goldie!! WOW, not sure what happened at the end of the last thread! I joined this group to discuss Juicy Couture charms with people who had the same interest; love of a beautiful thing. While I might not have the same interest or taste in other things (or a husband or children or etc) discussed outside the realm of the Juicy Couture charms, I had enough good manners to continue to read the posts (which I enjoyed) and reply to only the posts I COULD relate to. I have to say I'm more than a little disturbed and saddened by the recent turn of events at the last thread. So I want to say thank you for all the help, tips and great stories Juicy Couture related and the non-Juicy stories. To everyone here, I had a great time & I always looked forward to reading your posts!! Good luck with your continued search for your Juicy Couture charms and be well!TupTake2006,GoldenLeopardLady.(Goldie),Dragon ette,Kayyle,Cedes,LvBabydoll, tatertot, Dustypaws,Dolllover,Nighteyes..etc-Vlady580 ![]() P.S.-Cedes your are eloquent & to the point! I your style!!

i reckon with all the information and participation we have in our jc charms thread, if you split everything up into individual threads, we definitely have enough for a subforum!
that said, if that is too much trouble, i'm happy staying with our one single thread - it's just that newbies may not understand that since this is the only thread we have, some chatter is inevitable. all the regulars have no problems with this. i'm guessing some of the newbies either have no time or no patience to sift through the posts for the info they want, or for some reason they don't want to raise their queries like everyone does around here.hey cedes! a couple of us reported the person who jumped into our old thread with negative remarks. i'm guessing in return, that person has reported our thread for going off-topic. i'm glad to hear you heard from that seller at last!i hope megs and the mods could take a look through our closed thread - there is really tons of good info there. it would be a pity if we can't at least carry on helping each other and new collectors with info if we are to restrict ourselves from interacting naturally. ![]() EDIT: THANKS MEGS!!! that would be awesome!

Thanks vlady
I hope you're not going anywhere, though - your post sounds kind of final!!dragonette - I would have reported her, too.. it was all very unnecessary. And I just want to say that if anyone feels like we've gone totally off the deep end and are no longer in the realm of charms, all you have to do is steer us back. I would honestly have to say that I guess less than 10% of our entire previous thread was completely off topic, which I don't think is so bad. Almost every single post every person made had something to do with Juicy or charms. And never mind about the cherries charm, ladies.. I called around and found ONE left at a local store and put it on hold. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow.. suddenly this little sucker is harder to get ahold of than the Panda! |

I think it would be wonderful to have a Juicy Couture forum. We could discuss JC bags, charms, the jewelry in general, as well as the clothing and shoes. Right now the JC threads are scattered all over tpf, and the only way to find them is to search for them (of course one would need to know what to search for).
BTW, where is the "chatter box". Looked around but didn't find it. |

It's under the General Discussion area, as a separate sub-forum. :)

Wow i guess i should have have picked up the JC cherries when I saw it. they only had one left. It is a stunner. I'm not suprised it's hard to find. and how funny that the panda is everywhere. I saw a bunch of pandas at my local Nordies.
Vlady- Don't go anywhere! It was crazy what transpired, but stuff blows over and your input is appreciated. Every thread gets off topic now and then. What's the big deal? This thread is very popular and growing and their lies the problem and a good one at that I would say! |

vlady, i hope you're not going anywhere? we might have a new subforum soon?
![]() cedes, exactly! LOL @ the deep end (but then we are already in the deep end with our charm addiction? hehe!) but yes, i think even some of our off-topic chatter was related or inspired by charms! congratulations on scoring the cherries! i wish jc would make some nice enamel cherries again! i'm going to bed now... i will dream about our new subforum! *fingers crossed* have a good day everyone!

It's unfortunate that one poster could come in with rude remarks about the so-called off topics, being rude, report to the mods & then disappear.
That said, I'm on the Coach forum a lot. Just from being here for a couple of months, I think there is enough to have a subforum. just my two cents. |
