Thanks for the HK website btw... and yes the braclet is older. I got mine from Macy's a long time ago, I can't pin point what year. I believe the braclets had different charms on them. I've seen the one with the shield that you had pictured. Another one I remember had a lock and key and then mine with the black yorkie and heart. I hope you can find one, I love the braclet and would like it in other colors.

This has likely been asked before in the old thread, but with the new thread & beginning I thought it'd be interesting to ask & know!

What is your favorite charm of all time? And why?
pictures would also be great! I know most of us have several favorites but if you had to give up your entire collection (GASP! hehe) except for one charm, which would you hold on to?



For me - I'd have to say my Whale charm! There isn't a deeper story behind it but it was the lil charm that got me in to Juicy charms. I've noticed other charms before but this lil guy gave me a final push!
I just couldn't resist it-- it's small blue body with round gold outlined black eyes, the detail of water coming out of it's blowhold, the hinged tail that can move side to side, it's opening mouth that reveals a tiny yorkie on a chain.. I simply love this lil detailed guy!!
It sort of is my first Juicy charm.. I bought it off ebay but didn't do my homework, coz like most of you know I bought it off bonnietonnie and it was a fake! Anyway I managed to find the real deal & am so happy
(I realize I don't have any 'lone' pics of my whale! so this will do )


I want to hear everyone elses favorite too!!

Tup, I landed the Headphones charm a while back and didn't take a pic of it. I'll add one in a minute.

kayyle, I love that JC bracelet. I saw one not too long ago at Nordstrom I believe, online, and I didn't get it. It was a metallic bronze... I am still kicking myself for not getting it but since my wrist is larger I didn't know if it would fit. The one I saw did not come with a charm.

I've never really been a fan of wearing bracelets in general, I'm always setting my wrists down on tables/surfaces so usually bracelets feel like they're in the way, especially big clinky clangy ones. And especially for Juicy Couture I'd rather wear on a necklace than the charms bracelets -- don't get me wrong, I love the look and I wish I could pull it off, but I just don't have the faith that I wouldn't somehow lose a charm or get them all (bracelet AND charms) scratched & scuffed up!!
But I LOVE this bracelet! It's leather strap won't create any jingles when my hand/wrist/arm comes in contact with anything else and I can handle supervising one charm on my wrist!
I want to see how it looks like on someone's wrist though, do you happen have any pictures of it worn?

if i pick a favourite amongst my current charms now (considering the fact that my sister has about 65% of my charms with her in NY), i'd have to say the whale as well! like kayyle, it was the whale that gave me the final nudge to get into jc charms!

if i pick a charm that i don't have yet, which is my absolute favouritest jc charm right now, it would be the ghost or the slot machine (i cheated by having two hehe)!

if i pick a charm from the ones with my sis, it might be the retro tv, princess carriage, hot air balloon or the takeout box. i can't say for sure until i have them in my hot little hands!

but my favorite of all time has to be the mermaid charm. i love mermaids and it just has sentimental value... i think we all have a charm that we think of in this way! i was very lucky to get the mermaid on sale, it was one of the 1st juicy charms i picked up.

kayyle: i'll try to post a pic modeling the bracelet sometime this week. the small yorkie and gold heart don't bang around as much as the larger charms do. i normally wear my charms on the charm catcher or just on my bags as zipper pulls. i too have a phobia that the charm will just fall off!
