I have bought juicy couture purses from the juicy couture store and they come wrapped in that same plastic. To me it looks real but you should always ask for more pictures if your in doubt the inside of the purse is always a must!!

I will second that. I just recently purchased a JC purse from Nordie's for my niece's birthday and it had plastic over the inside landyard.

^^They must be cutting costs then like so many other companies. Usually JC wraps in Juicy Couture tissue paper.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I purchased my niece's. I remember the tissue paper over the lanyard, the "J" zipper pulls and other such hardware on the bags that I have purchased (and I have about 30 of them in my collection). Next time I stop by our local JC Boutique I will ask what the deal is with the plastic.

On that same note, I also noticed that the JC tissue paper is only the top layer of paper. After you remove it, it was standard white tissue paper without the JC logo. I thought that all the tissue paper had the JC logo.

I think it's just a sad sign of the times........ and frankly it's depressing! I don't need anything else to depress me!! I've already got meds for that!

Sorry for rushing in !
I am quite new to Juicy, and saying the truth I am here because I want to sell my pet-carrier on Ebay. I bought it from ebay some years ago and I never used it because my dog did not like it. The seller claims it as authentic ( and I payed an "authentic" price for it as well ) and personally I do nit doubt it but I want to be sure before selling it and I am not very familiar with Juicy at all. So which details do you need to be photographed here for an authentification ?
Just want to ask before posting, will take pictures soon !
Thanks for your help !

^^The more pics you take of every angle and detail- the better and also any tags. I don't think I, personally, will be the one who can/will authenticate it since I'm most familiar with Juicy Couture bags, but some of the others here know about the pet carriers.

chloe75 - make sure you get all the front, the sides, back, interior, zippers, pockets, and a close up of the interior tag. I am by no means an expert in pet carriers but I'll be happy to give you my opinion when you do post the pictures. The carriers usually have similar features to the normal bags so it probably won't be hard to judge it

Thank you ladies...well here are the pictures...tried my best to catch the details...
There was a chain with tassels across the two zippers but I put it off because it seemed not really save to me ( my dog once slipped his head beyond and could not pull out his head alone...). I did not find it anymore, but it was there when I bought it.

here we go...

unfortunately I did not catch all the little hearts and letters so clearly, so I added the best pictures I've got...will try again to show the engraving details better if needed...

thank you so far !

usillypenguin...thank you for your help...while taking the pictures I noticed that all the engravings are really clear, all the seams are exactly sewn etc. So I thought it might be authentic too. But I am not familiar with Juicy Couture in any way...I am so glad to be here, everyone is so kind and helpful...

I agree. It looks authentic to me too.

When/If you decide to sell, make sure that you let the bidder/buyer know that the chain is missing to avoid possible issues after the sale.

^^ It looks okay to me; not sure why it came in plastic wrapping though.
