Question Smooth leather Ramona with gold hardware?

I am going to try again! This time no pics, just a question? What do you think of the smooth leather Ramona (if I described it right) in black? It is not drummed or biker leather! Both of which I love! Anyone own that bag and how does she hold up? Thanks

Do you mean the shiny calf black Ramona? I have one and it's beautiful. Mine's held up beautifully for about 7 months. Granted, it's never been used! (Don't ask...I have a phobia about actually using my bags!) So it sits very beautifully in my closet. It was my first Choo.

I hope this pic showed up!

I think it is a soft calf black Ramona?

Yep, you'd be in shock if you could only see my closet. I have 8 Choos and none of them have ever been carried. And that's only the tip of the iceberg! It's insanity...hence my name!

It must be catchy! Buying then not using the bags. I do that also, but I am trying to be better about it LOL!.

Hmm...it's technically carried even if you're just around the house Does that count?

I don't even do that. I carry it snug in its dustbag to my bed, drop the dustbag down to gaze lovingly at it (without taking it out of the dustbag, mind you), then pack it back up and put it right back into the closet. Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist??

Well, it takes a moment of sheer determination to break a new one out. Once that hurdle has passed, I use it and the others I've managed to break out. That is, once I buy TWO new ones to replace the one I've now "ruined" by actually using.

Girls....I think we have a winner! I think we've found someone who now beats BonnieC in the "won't cut the tags off a new bag" category! At least she would carry her unused new bags around in the trunk of her car!

Purseinsanity, I can understand where you're coming from though. Twice I've bought 2 pair of the same exact boots so that I would have a back-up pair for the pair I wore and "ruined" just by wearing them. Never used either second pair and that pretty much cured me of that!

I use all my bags.....I want them to see and be seen!
