Default Ok, So what do you guys think of the wet patent and suede mahala in bone?

Hi gals, gotta make it quick cos need to pick up the little one from summer nursery..really wanted your advice on whether I should go for the wet patent and suede mahala in bone that's currently on sale? I've seen it online but not in real life and prefer the bone colour option to the plum or cognac, but not sure whether it is a bag I will like. I have always liked the mahala and wanted to get it as a second choo bag but not sure what leather colour or finish to go for..any advice? Have you guys seen it in real life?

I had this bag but returned it because of problems with the handles. It is a sagey green color that is pretty neutral and will go with anything. With all mahalas, the only thing you have to worry about is the suede inserts, but I have learned through experience (drooling dog) that suede can be cleaned and doesn't need to be babied as much as I feared.

There are some old threads about the Bone Mahala when it went on sale in late Dec/early Jan.

mk78, you're a mom of two, right? I'm thinking its color may be too light, although only you can decide. I just recall your comments about choosing the brown eel over the smoke or smokey color.

Love your new Avata, dsrk!!

The bag isnt that light colored. Bone is a crazy name for the color. Here is a pic of the one I had:

^^^ OMG lionlaw, GORGEOUS!!! OK, I was thinking it was light with a name like "bone" ~ although it doesn't look too light at all. It also looks like a fabulous neutral that can go with anything year-round.

Thanks lionlaw about my new avatar ~ it's one of our three cats. She's the youngest, most playful, and pretty much a bit of a clown. It's amazing I could catch her remaining still enough to take her picture.

I really dig your new avator with Shadow and your new Ring bag!! I wish my dogs would let me take photos of them with my bags.
