Default MORE FALL 08 bags

I should just post the pics and keep the commentary to myself, but I can't help myself. I am not lovin the majority of new styles which all look like glorified totes to me and way too much patent for my taste.

Then I saw what they did to my beloved wet look black patent Ramona and I laughed aloud. The "new" incarnation is fugly.

Just my opinions. Feel free to disagree or hurl stones.

I don't like anything :( Shearling Riki has a nice outside leather but furry inside? LOL I don't think it's going to be a big seller.

I do like the Maxine but nothing else jumps out at me. I have the sapphire patent Ramona on my wish list this season but nothing else so maybe I can finally curtail my purse spending! Thanks for posting.

Wow....this is disappointing on SO many levels. The fur of course, but that JC would even put something like this out....

And what are those things sticking up in the corners all about??

My taste runs casual so I'm really glad I discovered Choo when all the biker leather was still out. I love my patent bag as well, but for me a little patent goes a long way and the one JC patent bag I have is enough.

The Maxine is cute, but there is quite a bit of zipper action going on....I do love the color though!

Hmmm...(deep breath and sigh) What were they thinking? The shearling is not my cup of tea. The only bag I like is the Marla. But the large doesn't come in the color I like (Midnight), and the medium is too small. lionlaw, I may finally stick to my vow to take a break. I do like the bark color, but I already have the brown Marcia.

I like the bark Mahala and the midnite Marla but would like it in the large. I can wait till Spring and maybe get the bark Mahala if it isnt a big seller and it goes on sale, I am not in a hurry.

The one with fur is not nice. There is a fur Saba on the JC site that I felt scared when I saw But it costs a fortune so I am sure it is supposed to be nice.
There were several bags I liked in the other thread though.

I like the Maxine but I havn't seen it anywhere, didn't even notice the style in the catalog. I'll have to take a second look. I saw that fur Saba too and got a little scared myself but calmed down when I saw the price and realized I might not want to buy it even at half price, ouch

Don't shoot me, but I like the python Saba! I just wish it wasn't so glossy! The furry Ramona? As my 6 year old says: "That is UG-a-LY!!" And what happened with all the great Mahala colors? Those are okay, but boring! The colors of sand and mud. Oh well, like someone said, makes my ban easier to stick to!
