Default Hot fringe or 70's flashback?

Am I the only one or are those fringe bags starting to grow on anyone else? When I first saw them in the catalog I thought no way would I spend that much money on a fringe bag. Now, the more I look at them I am totally mesmerized I've made a few calls and it looks like more stores NM, Nordstrom and even SF boutique are getting the Diane and the Dylan will be less available. I kind of like the look of Dylan although it looks quite big. Would love your thoughts and to know if anyone has seen them IRL. SF has Diane and is sending pics of black and gold (I was thinking black) because some pics look different than catalog pics. Can't wait for your feedback .

I love the Diane...love the fringe. This may be my next Choo. I know, I keep saying that. One of the things I love is it looks like it will be a comfortable shoulder bag, and so many of the Choo bags are not.

I like it. The Diane I mostly like though because I like bags to go on shoulder. The only reason I am not sure about if it goes to use for seasons to come because of the fringe but then again the Diane isnt actually that expensive comparing to some bags.

Hey I remember the 70's! Unfortunately I remember the 60's too! I like the fringe, but bag might become collectors piece!

So far everyone seems to be going for the Diane which is more to my size liking and it does look comfortable. I figure it's one of those bags you should use quite a bit so if you tire of the fringe in time you'll feel like you made good use of it. I need to wait a week and then I think I'll have Nordy's send one to me (waiting for $600 in Nordstom notes to use on the bag) and see what I think because my SA at San Jose said they're only getting them in SO CA not Northern. By the way, I was 2yr - 12yrs old in the 60's and don't remember jack. You all must have good memories and mine is already shot to hell. Unless of course you ask me what I wore and what I ate 20yrs ago and I remember everything! Maybe I have a couple obsessions

So the SA emailed me the pics and the gold suede looks softer than in the catalog, like a champagne gold. Now I'm wondering if the black, which is out of heavy kid will look too hard and bikerish and maybe the gold will be a softer and more feminine look for an old broad ???????

I guess were a gaggle of grannies, cause I was made in the 50's, too!

The Diane looks a lot like the Khan with fringe, the size is the same, too. I have only seen Diane in pictures, tho.

I love the gold too, but I am thinking the metallic craze is over. I was in Nordies today and the only metallics I saw were Versasce(sp), I think. Lots of patent everywhere and gorgeous rich colors.
