This thread should be a sticky! It's really useful to those who are interested in eBay deals!

Did any authentic Romona's have black lining? I heard it was cream lining. Someone is telling me that they made black lining first.

You rock, robynbenz! I am a newbie to Jimmy Choo, but walked into the JC boutique/area at Bloomingdale's in the Westfield Shopping Center the other day and absolutely fell in love with the Alexin ponyhair. Looove it!

Thanks for this great guide!

This is a great thread! You spent a lot of time and energy on this and I'm sure a lot of people will benefit from all of your hard work! A couple of moons ago I too bought a fake JC off eBay (unknowingly, but I was lucky and was able to get the seller to take it back after much work!) During that time I was able to document the details through millions of photos on my other computer. If I am able to retrieve that hard drive I'll try posting it on here as a reference. Scary to say...the fakes have come a long way.

hi, i just purchased the jimmy choo riki bag in the off white color from Nordstrom and i was wondering if it might be a fake. the thing was that it was sold out in california so they had to order it from a nordstrom in Seattle to be shipped to my house. It does seem a little questionable. The bag is in off white in drummed leather, i believe. The problem is that the front of the bag is a darker color than the back of the bag. The handle for the zipper on the insider is a littler rusty. I brought it back to nordstrom to ask them about the difference in the color and they said that it might have been because it was on display for a long time and it the leather is so delicate. She even called other nordstrom stores and they claimed to have experienced the same problem with the Riki off white bags. Please help! i don't know what i should do. i still have the tag on because i'm somewhat undecided. i love the bag but i just need to know if it's an authentic one. help!

Here's the link:

Authenticate This Jimmy Choo

It's one of the "sticky" posts toward the top of the JC forum.
