Just be careful to make sure you get it somewhere you can return it, purseinsanity. I ordered the Wildcat Carolina from NAP and was really disappointed with the quality of the haircalf. It was a mess--shedding, peeling, flaking, baldspots--so I returned it. (Scroll down to see the pics in this thread: not wild about my Wildcat)

ITA with Cosmo, Purseinsanity! Careful, careful. I too was a little bit tempted. However, both the Carolina and Celeste in this print are on sale at jc.com.

Thanks for the warning Cosmo! I actually looked for your thread, because I remembered reading it. It scares me, but I want one soooo bad! I figure I'll make sure to buy it from someplace I can return to if necessary. What did you think of the bag if it had been perfect? Would you have liked it? I've never seen one IRL, but it looks amazing in pictures. And I'm not usually an animal print kind of gal!

Yes, I loved the style of the bag, and I had my heart set on it. When it arrived, I was so disappointed with the condition of the haircalf. I def would have kept it otherwise. The incident does make me wonder about the quality of all the Choo haircalf bags, frankly. I'm not entirely sure those problems were caused just because my sale bag had been sitting around NAP for a while. Since then, I've looked at some other haircalf bags by other designers--the Valentino Maison bag, for instance--and the quality seemed better. But you never know. My case with that one Choo could have been a fluke. My other leather JC bags are of outstanding quality.

I would say a Mave.. Only because the Marin looks huge on the 5'11 mannequins pictured in NAP. And Kim K isnt too tall, and comparing that to shorter sis, Kourtney.
