That is probably a better idea for now. If you live close to SFA's or Nordstrom's you can often find a good deal on sale bags, but you have to be willing to go in and check often. You might pay more than an ebay bag, BUT at least you will know it is authentic

Can someone authenticate this for me? I know nothing about jimmy choo handbags but the low bidding price seems odd.

Just make sure when you bid or ask for more info, that the bag in the photos is the same bag you will receive.
I have contacted that seller twice to get an answer on the size and to ask if it is a ramona or riki...no answer...be careful! No recent feedback and no feedback as a seller.

I'm presuming it's a Riki because of the price, but who knows??? However, I took Robyn's advice and emailed this seller about whether the buyer would receive this exact bag and if it would come with a dustbag... no answer, either. Yeah, I noticed the no recent feedback and no feedback as a seller also.

I have a very reliable bag store here in Hannover (Hostmann + Sander (four floors filled with goodies and they have a great cafè there too ^_^) and the ramona's are on sale there too (about 800,00 euro for a bag instead of 1400,00 but they dont have the black ones anymore... ) I'll go there today after work and buy her my gift ^_^ even if the bag itself would look better under the tree

but what about this one? is this original or fake?

These are both fake bags. You will NEVER see an authentic bag for a fraction of a price.

Dear littlemissh13 - I had to think I lot before writing this post, lest it be taken the wrong way. I don't know if you are new to bags or intentionally asked this to "stir the pot." You just can't tell with email as opposed to face-to-face communication. Selling a fake bag such as these is illegal, not to mention unethical. It rips off the original designer. And, it funds lots of illegal activities: the drug trade, and terrorism. I'm not sure if you knew that. Buying a fake is not an innocent "may do." It becomes a tacit approval of illegal activities, copyright infringement, theft of intellectual property. Counterfeiting bags is a big illegal business, and buying them assures more will be made. Mostly made under slave-labor conditions. You will not get any encouragement from tPF members to buy a counterfeit bag. I wanted a designer bag for many years. They were outside of my means, so I bought something real that I could afford. There are lots of lovely authentic bags in a price range lower than an authentic Choo. Please consider this when choosing how to spend your hard earned money, and what implications your spending will have. And please visit a search engine such as Google to learn more about this widespread problem.

hi no i was not trying to stir the pot i was just trying to get an opinion on the bag and also pointing out how good the copies have been, i've read loads of points on this site to look out for and the bag did tick most of the boxes but i would have liked a second opinion because it does imply it is genuine but i obviously don't want to pay stupids amount of money for a bag that isn't genuine and also i have been ripped off before so at least this time i could make an informed choice.

As for the ethical and legal issues yes i did know all of that and although i agree it can be used to fund organised crime but it is not always the case.

Apart from the price which was obviously the a clue what else on the bags photos could you use to tell the were fakes, simply because i'm sure some sellers would put these on for hundreds, and if i am gonna spend that sort of money i would like to know its genuine.

Obviously buying from a jimmy store is best option but genuine and second hand is cheaper and i'm sure somewhere some of them are genuine.
thanx
all

^^Those 2 bags were pretty bad fakes. They are probably even worse IRL as the price is so low. Once you carry authentic high end bags you can spot a fake a mile away. Look at the threads on authentic Romona/Riki bags and the Mahala/Maddy thread. There are pics of fake vs. real bags and the things to look for.
Please don't lower yourself to carrying a fake bag.
