Jim- I'm so sorry this turned into such a mess for you. I did actually buy the bag directly through their online store last night. I wasn't sure if they had 2, one on eBay and the other in their store, but obviously there was only one. I guess they were trying to maximize the bags exposure but at the expense of people who use eBay in good faith. Again, I'm sorry this happened to you.

I did ask the seller why the eBay listing remained up after I purchased the bag. He told me normally they would have cancelled the listing right away but says he had computer problems last night.

Thanks all. These forums have saved me over and over again.

RUNNNNNNNN

It is a definite fake! Never even look twice at JC bags with plastic on the handles

Please do not ever bid on one until you post here. We will all try to respond as quickly as possible, but check out the thread

The problem is that I had to transfer funds to an account linked to Paypal. Paypal now has this on hold and that may stay that way for a couple of days, then the monies have to be transferred back to my bank, which again can take around 4-5 days to clear. This is pretty bad in my opinion.

Wow, I am SO sorry! You know, the longer I'm on tPF the more eBay horror stories I hear and every day I just get closer and closer to saying screw it....eBay is NOT worth the risks, the hassles, the disappointments, etc.

It should be against eBay policy to have an item that is listed on eBay multi-listed somewhere else at the same time. I guess it would be impossible to follow that up, but still.

Again, I'm sorry you missed out on the bag and then on top of it all you're money is tied up as well.

Bear, I'm happy for you that you got the bag....you certainly did nothing wrong and I'm sure you're going to love it! It's a really pretty bag!

Jburgh from the photos, it looks good, but it is really difficult to get a good idea without close ups. You own this bag in brown, what do you think??

Has anyone of you seen this? What bothers me is the marked out of the nameplate. Is this a defective albeit authentic one? The price seems good though.

It looks like a return. I wouldn't pay that price for a bag with red marker on it!

I thought that bag looked good, as well. Interesting color...
