The people who sold me the bag said if I want my money back. I have to show proof that it is fake. How do I do that? Will JImmy choo do this for me and will I get in trouble for having a fake bag?

Hi yamahora
So sorry your got scammed by an Ebayer with a fake Jimmy Choo bag. I am not sure where you live, but if you live close to any Jimmy Choo Boutique, you could try to go in there and have they take a look at your bag, but more than likely, you will need to file a claim with eBay & Paypal stating you received a fake bag when the listing advertised authentic. (be sure to print a copy of the listing out for your records) If they want you to prove it, be sure to state the font on locking closure is not in the right place, the font on the lilac tag is the wrong font and the fact the seller sells fake bags! I hope you paid with a CC and/or through paypal. If you paid with a CC, be sure to dispute the charge as well.

Good luck

Ladies, what do you think of this champagne Mahala?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Authentic-Jimmy-...QQcmdZViewItem

I can't see the interior lilac tag well but zipper looks right IMO.

I looked at this last night and I would say be careful. It is possible someone purchased an authentic one and is using the receipt to try to sell a fake. The font on the lilac tag looks very questionable. It is hard to see the tag, but the letters that do show up are too thick

If you are interested in the bag, be sure to ask for more interior photos and make sure to keep all correspondence & a copy of the listing.

Is this authentic? I know someone was looking for a white mahala and I saw this one on eBay.

I'd be careful too...I don't see made in Italy under the lilac plate. Some of the pics look good, but the interior pics do not! I agree, ask for better pics of the interior if you consider this bag!

the first listing is authentic, but it is over priced It is a hard color to get, so the price you are willing to pay is something you will need to determine. It retailed for $1,850.00. Should you decide to purchase it from the seller on eBay, be sure to use a CC to ensure any potential scams.

The second bag is FAKE many of the members have reported this seller and eBay does not seem to ever pull their listings

Just be careful and always post in this thread before you make a purchase on eBay or any place that is not a reputable seller

I am not sure what bags you are used to carrying, but Mahala's are not any heavier than most designer bags and like I said before, they are not anything like a Paddy

It looks very questionable and the photos were too blurry to be able to make a wise decision. Someone purchased it though
