As I was registering on the Purse Forum..."Girlfriend" just popped in my head. I guess because we're all just a bunch of girlfriends talking our stuff.

And not leaving the guys out...we're all friends here with the same obsessions.

Whenever my hubby and i watch TV there's always something in one of the commercials that I wanna get and would keep bothering him till i get it. So then he starts calling me 'monkey see monkey do' hence, m-s-m-d. I guess that's why he invested on a PVR (Personal Video Recorder - it's like TeVo) so we can still watch TV and skip all the commercials!

What a sweet story! Mine is just my first name, last initial. Geez, if I used my nickname from my parents, I suspect I'd be banned from tpf! When I was a baby, I was extremely overweight. So my parents said I looked like a pig, and they actually call me "Pig's Head" in Chinese as my nickname. Yeah, I know . To this day, they still call me that, even though I'm thin now. Their friends go into shock whenever they hear my parents openly refer to me as "Pig's Head." When my mom is feeling casual, sometimes she'll pick up the phone and just call me "Pig."

When I was in 1st grade, I remember this kid asked me if someone had hit me with a frying pan because my face was flat... kids could be so mean, huh?

But not to fear, I finally lost my ugly genes and am now a smokin' hot MILF.

OK, I don't mean to make light of what may have been a truly traumatic childhood memory.....but as I read the above, I was thinking, "yeah, but it probably sounded really pretty in Chinese!".

And fat....I've seen modeling pics of you and you're so tiny no one is going to call you Pig today! Isn't it funny though? Because if your parents had called you "Piglet" it would have sounded all Winnie the Poohish and everyone would have thought "how cute!".

With my sisters and I, we were Stinky, Punky and Sunshine....yeah, it didn't take me all that long to put 2+2 together to figure out who was my Dad's favorite!

I call my kids "pooh-pooh head". You think years later they'll pick that as their username (poohpoohhead or pooh2head)? I hope they don't take it offensively. I mean, they were literally pooped out into the world (head first) anyway.
