I saw these IRL at the SF JC boutique this past weekend and they are very rich and beautiful looking. The braided handles look really good too. The leather is quite a bit heavier than say the Saba and the Simone. It felt like it would be a little more rugged yet still looked very refined
 . The hardware is really pretty.

And now for the Rumer, the next in the new S/S 2009 Ruby Collection.
Rumer – new clutch in the Ruby group, done in Cognac grainy calf. This is the large size (JC USA did not buy the smaller version) and measures about 13” E/W, 7.5” N/S, and about 1.5” front to back. It has a full top zip (nice feature on a clutch) and is priced at $1250 US. |
