The Python sounds crunchy when you touch it and it makes me want to cringe thinking of all those little scales falling off. I may not keep it. Since I'm asking for advice, I scored a Turquoise Mahala off the clearance rack at my local mall today and it feels a little dry. Do you ladies condition your leather bags? Do you treat them with anything to keep them soft and pliable? Is there anything I can put on my new shimmer Mahala to keep the glits from rubbing off? I know thats alot of questions but I just bought 4 new bags and I have no idea how to care for them or how to store them. Should I put tissue in the Mahalas so they will keep their shape when bieng stored? Please help me, I feel so overwhelmed!
Salight you MUST use your exotics!! I have 5 exotic JC bags and have been using them daily for the past couple of years. I am somewhat careful with my bags (keeping them off floors etc.) but I don't baby them either. I store my babies with tissue paper or the plastic pillows (JBurgh mentioned) in their sleepers. That's it!!!

I used DYO on mine when I got them, (any reptile conditioner should be fine) but have never gone back and reapplied it and I have never had any scales come off or even come close to peeling off.

My only complaint with the exotics are they love to eat your sweaters, so just be sure to switch to a leather bag if you are wearing a really nice sweater

Anyway, use these babies and Enjoy!!!
