i am not sure what happen to it? the first 'O' from 'jimmy choo' name plate shows some dark color. don't know how to clean it?

Is it a stain or a chip maybe?

It is hard to tell, but it looks like the brass is oxidizing. Did you try polishing it with a lint-free cloth?
