Sounds very nice GP!! I missed that you were having your handles shortened, I didn't realize this was something you could have done locally. What size were they before and what size are they now?

I had asked for 9" and when my bag arrived the drop was closer to 10", but seeing the bag IRL I thought closer to 7-8" would look more proportional on the bag. Since I asked to have it lengthened in the first place I did not feel right asking Ignacio to take care of it at his expense, so I took it to a local leather shop and had them shorten the drop. It is about 7-8" now, which works a lot better for me. I realized through this whole proces that I like a 9-10" drop on single strap bags, but double rolled ones seem to slip too much unless I have them shorter to tuck right under my arm. I also had wanted it to look good arm or shoulder carried, and the 10" drop looked odd on the crook of my arm.

DH thought I was crazy for having it changed, but I am much happier with it now.

Baghag, Bailey is doing great! Thanks for asking! No more seizures yet (knock on wood) and he is his happy little self again.

Greenpixie, how resourceful of you to have it changed to a drop that's more to your liking! *high five!* You're very kind to not take advantage of Ignes' most excellent customer service, I would have felt the same way. That's terrific it's working out much better for you now.

America it's time for a change! Nooo, not politics, but HANDBAGS! After two weeks of carrying my black Cecilia, I am taking my Dulce for a spin!! It's a pretty deep bag, swallowed my stuff right up, and I was able to add some more stuff!!

Wearing an olive/loden top and pants with orange cardigan, brown/olivy loafers.

yay, change is good! I'll see my Cecilia when I get home tonight....
