I mean after seeing the black/white 1/2 job on the emilia, I went back and did a summary memo specifying every detail tonight to make sure everything on the bags was covered. Should they have some sort of control like a checklist-- yes. But I know Ignacio told me that he had 433 emails in his inbox from a half day. that is crazy. As for the qualify issues-My comments really didn't pertain to this situation but more to the overwhelming number of PMs I get asking me to compare Ignes to Be, to Jimmy Choo, etc and then some posts I see about disatisfaction when the bags aren't perfect (meaning craftsmanship and not sloppiness/scratches,etc.) . Sometimes I read things on here and think, well what did you expect? It's like the SA ostrich. At first I didnt love it and the quills. But then I got reaslistic and thought, heck a mulberry bayswater is $4000 in ostrich. My yellow sunchine mini-o was $450 or something like that. So I am guilty of not practicing what I am preaching.

Seeing this, I realized I'd sent Ignacio 80 million of the 400 emails discussing my bags and my two friends' bags. (I am the enabler, so I ask them stuff, get answers from Ignacio, and finalized things.) I went back, made an email with ALL five bags, and sent it with all details specified to make his life a little easier.
I agree, a checklist for them is important. And I think we can help the process. Ostrich, curious what you think of your yellow Mini O, LL. I don't know other ostrich, but can see all you describe except the quills, which my Tango doesn't have, well, that I can feel. LOVING your creative bags, Euridice. Sandy chains on a Virginia, stroke of genius! And the pink...awesome combo. The Mr. Puddles Emilia, breathtaking. And the Carla is gorgous blue! |

Okay...I have been out of the Ignes loop a bit and JUST found this thread...
DAMN, Euridice honey, you have been BUSY! I it!Mr. (or Ms., as you wish) Puddlegasm is lovely, lovely...and the colors on the Virginia are fantastic! Me fuchsia pebbled leather, and the chains are TDF. I also am seriously digging the Tilly in the light grey patent. That is a solid year round choice, IMO...and the studs rawk. I love your lining choices as well! Excellent job! PS: ITA with what people have been saying about the need to specify on our part...I wonder if Ignacio would take offense at us suggesting that they do some sort of checklist online or provide it over email? This is something that BE Couture has just instituted online, and it's a big task up front but probably would save Ignes a lot of headaches in the long run. |

Quick question: Euridice, are you thinking about the Carla (which I really like!) as a work bag? I would be curious as to how you like it IRL...please let us know!

thanks, everyone, again! And thanks, newbaglover, I am glad you are pleased with the PUddles Emilia. I can't wait to see the cobalt carla in real life. I'm wondering why it looks rumpled on teh outside where the closure would be inside. hmm. I'll just ignore that!
Loquita, do you mean for carrying a PC? I don't think the shape at the top allows for that...and the way the zipper doesn't go all the way across on my Chiara...that would not allow a big ol' heavy dell laptop from work to go in. Magazines fit, but if you are in a hurry it's possible to get them caught on the zipper! |

Hey Euridice, I lied. The pouches I ordered are shipping. Next week I'll have a teeny tiny reveal of intense green, lipstick pink, cherry red, and yellow patent! Fun tiny little rainbow!
