OK... so I have my new Mini Emelia.
I showed DH and said, "How do you like my ghetto fabulous bag?" told him I would remove the tassel from the zipper pull and he said, "Why it is so blinged out to the max"

I said, "Don't worry, I'll only wear it if I am in all black"

He said the braids match cause it all looks red.
How was raspberry suede supposed to look red? I though this would be wine.
They used red thread and red underneath the zipper.... kinda looks Marc Jacobs to me w/ the red contrast threading.
I like my studs .. its just the red suede in the braids that bother me..

I do now know it is the perfect size, love it... and I do love that I got the strap thicker- its awesome on the shoulder.. not falling or anything. Fabric lining is nice.

I love the braids but the red of the raspberry suede bothers me... am also thinking I spelled Ghetto wrong.. is it getto? LOL Don't know.

I took 2 more pics of it next to my Be&D Garbo to show I dig studs!

Maria sent me an email asking what I think of the braiding and I do not know what to answer.. she knows from the delivery confirmation that I got it. I mean... in a way I feel it is my fault and I know Americans think some colors do not go together while in Italy, UK... etc sometimes wears colors together that we might find do not go.
I mean its my fault but I wish they sent me a pic before it was being made... Ugh.
Would love to say, "Do over- black bag...!" Ugh.

I'm sorry you're not thrilled with it.

In the pictures it looks to me like the colors work together beautifully!

Btw... you spelled ghetto correctly, but it doesn't look the least bit ghetto to me.

Yeah, on my computer the different shades of red/wine look very similar to the colors of the flowers on the pillow behind the E. But it may look different in real life and it is more important that you like it enough to enjoy it. Is it possible to have the braiding redone since that is the only part you aren't really digging?

Hmm. I need to see it in person (hint, hint when are we getting together) because perhaps the flash is making the two colors seem brighter than they are. I am surprised about the color because I know you're not a red purse person.

Do you like it? I think you can wear it with more than black. Since it seems so bright and rich at the same time, you could wear it with everything except brown.

I'd relocate the braiding if I could.
