Thanks everyone! NC- I had asked about braiding on Petra but they said it can not be done.

I love it! I think it is a gorgeous bag, not ghetto at all, lol!! The braiding looks great! I don't mind the tassel on the zipper either. The studs do kinda make it look like it is grinning at you with blinged out teeth!! But I don't see a problem with the studs. I think you are being self-conscious or something since it is not a "safe" bag....with just one color and minimal studs. If you are not used to color on your bags, the braid might very well make you self-conscious, but I think it is amazingly great.

Maybe you should wait and see...you might end up loving it? That happens sometimes when you try something new. I hope so, anyway!

I used it today and yesterday- it was a big hit. I hung out w/ 2 friends last night... right away 1 friend said, "I love your bag!" at dinner both friends were caressing it, stroking it..loving the mega soft leather. Today we went to a friends house for a bar-b-que, right away my BF said, "New Bag?" "Yes.. bought it when I was still employed" "I like it a lot"

So yes, it is different and more showy then I am used to but I now really like it a lot! I did take off the zipper tassel though. :)

That tinted wine is gorgeous Duranie...and I like the red zipper in contrast on the front. I'm glad you like it now!
