I'm even more confused now....
Here is what I thought... This is "Taupe" same as on the website ![]() This is Olive (at least I really, really hope, cause I love this color!) ![]() This is what she called for me "Olive - Taupe" describing it as "taupish leather which has a bit of green in it" I got the impression this was a new leather .... but honestly not sure ![]() What is Maria doing offline during a crisis like this! |

Maria sent me that same 'green' taupe photo, and all I saw was grey. I think she said it was relatively new. The olive leather appears gorgey (TM Euridice) though!

Maria said it is a very old style....I'll have to go see if it had a name. OK...it was called the Lucila.

OK..got booted off over and over again due to lovely weather in cold rainy dismal NYC..and yes..Missy..Florida is looking better and better..especially now that I found out that we were not looking anywhere near where we were supposed to..more about that but not on here LOL..back to the mystery..
I swear that olive taupey leather looks almost like HH's Eucalyptus..and I'm now about to roll myself into a ball and play with the bags I own because I am so afraid to do this..except for black on black which is safe but maybe boring even if it does sound lovely. Maria promised to get back to me on the Greens and Blacks she has..because that is all I really want as much as I love the browns, wines and other brights.. Missy...you know I love to look at those brights and colors and I own a few bright turquoises and greens but have never used them. The only one I do use is a second hand SMM in Fuschia. I seem to stick to browns, camels and cremes..not even one wine...or cognac colored bag. I know I want a Midi Sofia because I like the way it sits on my shoulder and I don't hand or arm or elbow carry my bags ever. I don't like a bag that is too NS or EW..and I realize I don't like a bag that is too slouchy or too structured except for the BE IYT I own..and I don't want to duplicate that look either. As I said, I'm downsizing after a year of buying rashly...and now I decide to buy what I will use not just admire! So back I go to peruse the library of swatches styles and combos until I go cross eyed and get a massive headache..it's easier to buy a ready made but dang it..I want me a custom Ignes. |

OK..is the Jungle Green the same as the Forest Green? The swatch that is a few post before this one looks almost blue green to me..and Ms. Lizardo know I loath Xmas green in a bag....I need a bottle green bag..I really need one...WAH!
If the Olive really is that color Olive in that Sofia then I might decide to go for that..this is getting me ..I thought this was supposed to be fun dang it all.I wear jeans..or black slacks or skirts..so I could also go for a blue which I don't own..but i want a bottle green bag.. ![]()

gingeybear, the jungle green is a yellow green and the forest green is a blue green. I very much wanted the jungle but it is no longer available (/whimper). That has left me in a quandry as to what else I might want, and have been driven to complete indecision.

Yep Euridice....you got me on the "Euridice, the vicarious Liver"....exactly what I pictured a human organ.....LOL
97% sure that it will be a Mini_Ormala........93% sure on the camel....just solid...gold HW, maybe purple cloth lining for a change. Do you think the camel will have some substantial weight to it? I like heavier bags. |
