I wanted a MJ zip clutch for sometime, its great since I get good use out of clutches which double as wallets.
hope Ignes introduces a clutch/wallet, would be lovely with all those leather selections

SK- what in the world?! WTH. That about says it all from me.

Mentha- very pretty- love the color! I like clutch wallets too. I tend to carry a good bit of cards, checkbook, etc., so I like a larger wallet that is not cramped. I think if they did a clutch wallet it would be a hit. I'd buy one b/c I love my Hayden Harnett one so much, but have yet to see a color that grabs me on sale. The HH can double as a clutch as well, if need be, although I never use it for that function, aside from errands (just not a clutch or formal girl).

Thanks Elizat,

I was waiting to get the HH clutch wallet and this was on sale at barneys at a great price and I loved the color,
I somehow can't justify spending a lot on a wallet, though I too have realized that I need a large wallet with ample space and card slots, the use as a clutch is more when I am just heading out to a dinner/movie, so it needs to fit in my phone, keys, lipbalm.

The hh black and gold wallets are on sale but its not as marked down as it was last time, I am still thinking whether I should get it too, more as a everyday wallet rather then beating this around. its just that I am wondering whether it will fit all the extras and whether I need to buy another wallet, more a matter for the mindful thread

Yeah, it's on it's way back right now. It was only out of the box long enough to get a good laugh.

What do you guys think of the full sized version. 16x17 seemed too big, but after the smaller version it seems about right! It only has an 8" drop though...what do you guys think? Too tight?

Well that would depend on:

Did you like how the mini bag was made?
Is that a comfortable drop for you to put over your shoulder?
Remember it may give you a little more because of smoosh factor?
Is the price good for you on the larger size?
Since you do live in SoCal you most likely won't need to wear a heavy coat unless you go skiing up in Mammoth (boy do I miss doing that!)
And you can always send it back!

One other though on that size that is quite HUGE as in almost the same size in the 2 biggest bag blunder's I ever bought for Colette!
Those would be the dreaded "Iman's!"
Which were big enough to carry a Gallon of milk in and still have room!
Has that same basic shape kind of........

good points, MAtt!! You have learned well, my friend.

I think that sounds huge as well. 8 inches could work without a coat. My perfect drop is 9 inches but 8 can work. I do NOT have skinny upper arms.

Y'all MAria tweeted that she is looking at designs for a wallet clutch!! Amazing!

Great questions!

I did for the most part. I wasn't crazy about the handles, they were flat and kind of squashed, but they had just been unpacked. I really, really like the color saturation. It's bright but the snake shows through.

I'll have to measure my bags when I get home, honestly don't know the length of drop I prefer! The bag I'm carrying today has a 9" drop and is plenty comfortable.

Actually it is super thin and can be completely flattened, but no squish to it, if it makes sense? The mini version actually felt very tight, no give in the handle area.

The price is my main motivation. I love exotics, but they are mostly out of my price range. So a full size snakeskin bag for $160!!! That's what's making me sooo tempted.

No heavy coat, no skiing unless I want to injure myself!

True, true, they do make it easy. But the shipping costs both ways do add up, plus the time they have my money

I know! When I originally looked at the bag I ruled it out because I thought it would be huge. I went with the smaller Emma, 11x11 seemed more my size. (Bag I'm carrying today is 10x6 for instance) Something about how it's just a simple flat bag and it's shape, made it look like a doll purse though. So I don't trust my judgements on the dimensions. Maybe I could use it as a shopping tote! Get the $.05 off my grocery bill for bringing my own bag!

Extra 10% off is only for today....so the clock is ticking ...so much pressure!

SK,

To me it sounds like for $160 and the fact you like the material....
I would Go for it!
Of Course every one here will tell you I'm one of the worst ENABLERS!
But from what I read in your answers if you don't get it you always wish you did!

So I say you really answered your own question!
BTW I do Love the Color!
