So, twice I got ready to go outside and take pictures of the new girls in the house and both times it got dark and started raining. Yeesh. I gave up and started doing a major kitchen cleaning and the sun came out. So we have indoor photos and no modeling shots because -- I look like I have been cleaning the kitchen.
Here's the Burberry Westcott in pink taupe ruffled leather. It really does not photograph well, but I also found a nice piece on the bag on the purse blog: http://www.purseblog.com/hobos/burbe...ulder-bag.html This is the closest I have come to an HG. I first saw her last September and with a $2195.00 price tag, decided to wait and see what happened. Last week I got her for $725. Have I mentioned I love the manager of the handbag department of my local Nordies who called me on this one? Third photo is the other new girl, a Lockheart Avant Garden Paula. Sigh. Been pining after her too. So, along with the light blue Coach Editorial Zoe, I acquired three bags last week with a total retail price of $4000.00; I paid $1250.00. One must do what one must do when the opportunity arises or the handbag goddesses get angry.

Family heirloom I acquired this weekend. FIL's Mom's purse. He remembers her carrying it. Mil put it on the 10cent table at her garage sale, thus, some of my nail biting this weekend. Ummm...hello, you know I love bags and love family items. Ugh!
Mrs. Bright White is already loving my house, as you can see below. First she posed by the hammock, then she sprawled. A lovely afternoon for her after a decade in mil's basement.

Mindful -- heh!
NC, I like your heirloom! Still looks lovely white - how old is she? Also, you can come to my house and walk around with the Burberry. No going outside though! I don't even know how I am going to get myself outside with her! |

Heirlooms are the best. It's a Cee Klein from the 90s, so likely one of her last bags. She was a classic Jackie O type and I have a great black clutch that was hers. This is pleather, but it's a nice soft one. It's cool to consider the history and where she took the bag.
Pink, I needn't even touch the bag. Promise. But when I get on the right outfit, I will post and say she is in my dreams. But a personal visit...ya, I'd do that :) |

Thanks, girls. You know, as simple looking as it is, it actually looks fairly hot on me
. The material isn't the great, but I love imagining the stories. Fil was excited I wanted it.

^^NC - bring on the mod pics! Lovely bag!
Here are two I have been waiting for! The fuschia is not as light pink as it looks. The blue is the matte petrol Charm Me mini. Not mini at all! The matte petrol is a nice soft yet thick leather. I think TL ordered the same bag. |

oooh!!! You got a charm me mini!! I am soooo jealous, I've wanted one forever. Or since winter or so, lol! Please compare the matte and regular petrol leathers....color? Durability? Texture?? I have reg petrol but I am most curious about the matte.
Oou, and the lovely Chanel!! Gorgeous!! Congrats!! |

Sandy: Wow those are gorgeous!
No Cute: Awesome heirloom. I love imagining stories too! I didn't make any major purchases but did go to the SPCA and brought home another new friend. I haven't named her yet. They called her Hippo, but I find that quite cruel. It isn't her fault someone overfed her. She is down to 16 pounds, from the 21 when they first got her. But she is still much too heavy. I hope I can help her get some of it off and get a bit healthier. This is her next to a size 13 mens shoe:

Sandy, awesome bags! Congrats!
MG, that is the best non-Ignes purchase EVER! She's awesome! And she carries her 16 pounds very well. She looks no more than 13 to me...my Kitty is 14 and looks more rubenesque. |

Oh she's lovely!
She looks just like my kitty, Rosalita. Rosalita is a bit on the chunky side too, not that it slows her down any. |
