Euridice, this one of (ahem) my consolation purchases for not getting another Gabi in the sale last week (could not get any of the three colors I would have wanted). The Coach bag is unbelievably soft, especially for Coach.

That's a nice color Nikki! I have never held one in person and I fear that the shoulder clearance would not be enough for me to be comfortable. And then I would be heartbroken like when I had to send the RM PlanB back.

Meanwhile, last week was a major budget meltdown. I have a Burberry en route form Nordstrom, a Lockheart Avant Garden Paula and the Editorial Zoe in my collection as a result. Must...get...a...grip.

OOOOOooooooooooooooo pretty loot.

I guess I need a pic of the inside of my engine for this thread, eh? I just put a Mini Emilia into it.

Thanks girls! I am letting her "air out" a little more before I carry her again - I took Ms. Nikki to work with me yesterday and the smell of the leather finishing wafting around my desk was not so pleasant. I love the color and the style though! You were right, E - I am a Nikki convert.

Pinkshoulders, I thought the same about the shoulder drop until I finally had a chance to try one on in person. It is actually quite comfy the way the leather slouches, hangs, and kind of folds over at the top.

NC, the amount you mentioned for your car did not seem so bad, until you put in terms of a mini Gabby.

In normal terms, the 350 isn't hideous for a car (though overpriced for what needs doing), but in purse terms, very sad.

I find the shoulder drop of the mini nikki to be a little short....it slouches and folds so you can jam your arm through just fine, but I like a wee bit more drop, which you get with the full size nikki. With the way it folds over, it works really nicely!! Sending back a gorgeous Nikki would indeed be heartbreaking. Wait, did we know you sent a plan b back? I'll have to look back through this thread, my memory is going down the drain.

No Cute, I love the way you put everything you have to spend $$ on in terms of a non-Ignes purchase!!

Do I? *blush* Yes, lots of purse math. But not EVERYthing....just the really gross stuff that SHOULD be purses: septic field, auto repair, go in pics.

I am right with you on the speaking out. I have graced my dentist with purse math when given stunning estimates: "$2400? That's four really nice handbags, you know."

The PlanB got sent back last year, or whenever right after it was introduced, so I don't think I was on this thread at the time.

I got the Burberry today...and I am swooning. This is the closest to an HG bag I have ever come, having waited 9 months for the 60% percent off and then a week for it to toddle across the country. Because the week seemed as long as the previous nine months!

OK, you convinced me. I have been fighting a summer cold and working late but now I have an excuse to goof off and take photos, probably Friday.
