She's right! She's GOOD! I am now virtuous, not lacking in self control. (But the leather was so soft...)

Via Deals and Steals I found out Luna Boston was having a 25% off sale (code INSTYLE08) so I couldn't help but peek around. Of course then I fall in love with a bag that is NOT included in the sale because RM, Kooba, Botkier and Treejse are excluded. However, I've also spotted the bag on Ebay and at Bloomies, Ebay being the bargain but of course no returns which makes me squeamish.

I cannot express how much I LOVE this bag!! From all angles it's so perfect! The leather, the drop size, the hardware, etc. I have a birthday soon and it's tempting but again...$595..and then if I got it I couldn't afford an Ignes.

The "I can't afford an Ignes" issue is an important one, eh? But Kooba rocks! I really want a Kooba at some point...but I will wait on my Ignes. I did see the coolest, very different Kooba in the clearance at Nordies. I am looking around trying to find a pic to show you, since you're a Kooba fan, and to share with everyone in the Clubhouse.

I never knew I was a Kooba fan, until I saw this bag! LOL Yes, I'd love to see a pic! They have very unique styles.

They also have a bag similar to the one I am interested in but it's in a satchel, the handle drop is too short for me or I'd want to scoop that one up as well.

Just let me know....but, wow, $595! My creativity gets better the lower the price (less backlash possibilities!! ) I personally would prefer to continue planning the perfect Ignes with you, but one thing that's true is that you could get the Kooba now, then whenever you are ready to get another Ignes, even in a year or two from now, you can pick up where you left off just maybe with some different leather choices. But I wonder....will this Kooba be on sale at some point? Or was this Kooba the one you are saying is on ebay??

I know, $595..that's so much!! The most I've spent on bag is $440 and I thought that was a hell of a lot. I think this Kooba style and color will be hot for Fall and I can't see it holding out until the sales hit end of season - but that could just be my paranoia. Yes, there is one on Ebay but it's a new fall style and not up on the Kooba site yet that I can see.

Tell me, do you like this bag better or the Gaby done in the tinted wine/tinted brown combo I had in mind?

Linda

I see what you mean about a hot fall color....and you'd kinda want to wear it in the fall, KWIM? I personally like both bags. I think they are different enough from one another that both would be great additions to anyone's wardrobe.

You might want to wait a couple of days and see how you feel? Or, you could order the Kooba, examine it in person to make sure it's all you think it is. If you're disappointed, then there's your answer! Return it, and go for the Ignes.

I think that you have your gorgeous classic Ignes. Maybe it's time for a fun, fashionable bag for fall that won't take 4 weeks to get? Then later on, time for another well-planned Ignes. (and you can still be enjoying your gorgeous raspberry throughout!!)

Good luck with this decision!!

I found the very cool Kooba I was fondling yesterday on the clearance table: Waverly Duffle. It was in the 300 range. Wowza. I knew it was a good deal, but wowza!

Kooba Waverly Leather Duffle Original: $635.00SALE: $445.00

Default More Grey!
I am really fixated on grey for some reason! Previously I had never had a grey bag and now I just got this one and have a Grey Mini-Ormala coming! That is dark grey...which justifies it of course!
