My Liusa arrive today, in time for my NYC trip!
I'm really happy with it! It's exactly what I wanted for a travel crossbody. The added wristlet will make it perfect to do double duty at night. It's really a beauty! I love the Luisa - the size is perfect and the design is wonderful. I'm so glad they redesigned it.
Your leather choices are perfect! I may keep this one of the back burner for my third! |

Thanks Cathy!
I think the redesigned worked out really well, the placement of the hardware and the pleat seem very natural. I haven't taken it for a test run yet, but I think the balance problem and the pooched side issue should be resolved. |

It looks fabulous!! I really love the details and it looks so soft! The lining is lovely too!
I may order one of these next!! It'd be great in a bright color for summer, don't you think? And tell us about the swatches! Please?? LOL! There are some really pretty ones in there! I like the blue and green on the top in each corner! |

I'm going to say it...
MODELING PIX PLEASE!!! worn crossbody and to see if the balance thing has resolved itself. TY! lolThis looks great SK! Can you also do a shot of what you'll be loading into it? I wish there was a Luisa Max (I still think the Luisa is still a bit small for the minimum amount of stuff I carry). Great leather choices

TL - I think a bright color would be great. The black 109 leather is really soft and smooshy. It's going to be perfect for traveling, it seems pretty tough. My Gabby had a run in w some mayo
and came out no worse from it! The swatches, you picked out my two favorites! The green one of the top right is Celery ...OMG.... . I need a job soon because I must have my Josie in this leather. I'm almost certain it's tinted, it's the same texture as the other tinteds I have. I also received the new (unnamed) 188 Green that compliments the Celery, it is totally going in the braid! The top left is actually the 911 Deep Purple Exterior Suede. It is really bright and saturated. It's really stunning, but what is disappointing is it clashes w every other Ignes Purple (I think I have them all, lol). It's very bright to pull off on it's own, so I was hoping there would be a purple nappa that compliments it, but no such luck. I don't think I'll get around to photographing and posting swatches until I return from vacation. Plus I haven't got swatch photography down yet! How do you get a pic in full sunlight wo a shadow!?!Irainei - LOL, you're in a demanding mood this morning. I will give it a run this afternoon, I can't promise modeling pics, and I'm going to use preparing for vacation as my excuse . I will try to get pics of what it will hold. And I will report back if the balance issue is resolved. I agree it's a little small for everyday use.

Thanks, SK! Wow, the purple suede almost looks like a royal blue! It's gorgeous! And I just know I'm going to end up with celery! I am not a green person really but celery is just beautiful and I keep finding myself drawn to it! Perhaps I should do a small make up bag in it to satisfy my need for it!
For swatch pics in full sunlight with no shadow, I just stand on whatever side of the swatch I need to to prevent a shadow from falling on the swatch. I'm hoping to learn some tips from my ds when we do some pics of swatches later. I'd love to do one pic in full sunlight and one in natural light but not completely full sun, kwim? I'm growing very interested in photography lately! I also am not much of a black bag person but I do know there are those times when there's a need for one. I really should consider a bag such as this for those occasions while 109 is in stock! Since it's a classic leather, that means they can order it any time right? |

I'm going to have to test out 'don't create a shadow' technique...lol....is it really that simple and I couldn't figure that out?! I know the Purple Suede swatch does photograph blue, weird cause my camera usually gets colors pretty accurately and the natural light is great in that part of the house. Hmm...if I have time I'll try to get an accurate color on that. Celery would be great in a makeup bag. If it's tinted as I think it is, it'll be indestructible. In my packing I've found a new use for the makeup bag. It fits my laptop battery and mouse perfectly! I'm too chicken to put actual cosmetics into it aand check it for fear of breakage and leakage!
Theoritcally classic leathers should always be available, I would think, but they certainly seem to disappear off the catalogue page. I think black 109 is safe though. I mean they have to offer a black leather, and this is a great one, so I would think they'll keep it around. Since I've been packing I've realized I wish I had another Luisa in the Tinted Blue or maybe Saffire (which I didn't get my requested swatch of!), since I'm going to be wearing jeans almost everyday, it would actually be more versatile than the black. |

Looks great, hope it is not getting wet in NY right now ! What is the real veiny swatch above the light grey, left hand side?
