yes euridice, it looks just like that. perhaps this is a cost cutting measure? the metal plaque is so much nicer than the silver leather imo.

I really don't like that at all and have already sent off a message to Ignacio/Maria at the website...they were offline. Costcutting is one thing, and as a cheapskate, I appreciate the need for it. But that's just, well, cheap. Sorry. The bags are beautiful, but I'm just spoiled, I guess.

Yes, I noticed this when looking at Aster Alice a while ago. I was thinking well maybe they did this just for the aster alice. it's weird and looks crooked. I'm glad you sent them a message!! I am dismayed that they did this on one of the custom-made bags.

Now, I need to get back to the topic at hand. Momo, this bag is smoking hottt!!! You are a genius!! It looks super gorgeous!!! Congratulations on a beautiful design, and I am so glad that they were able to do this bag without the underside handle thingies. It would have been too much with the chainhandles, but this is just perfect!!!!!

They did it in my mini-emilia and petra too. The little labels weren't even cut straight in mine so I took them off since they were loose anyway. I agree with NC that the new labels look ultra cheap. Almost hand-made.

omg, I think they did it to me, too!! I was looking at my preview pics and couldn't really tell...I wonder what they did in my brushed gold ones.

I mean, why offer ostrich and salmon or whatever at 50% extra, just stop that and purchase some proper labels!!

What do you think we should do? Should we all email them our concerns? Let it go? I think it really cheapens the brand. I mean it is their name. Have some pride in how you display it.

Okay, we know I'm the cheapskate of the bunch but this is not cool. Totally cheapens the brand, I agree, LL. Yes, we need them to know this. Now I'm off to look at my new bags. I'll be pissed if it's a cheap label in my friend's Veronica (which still hasn't shipped because I'm up to my eyeballs with stuff this week.)

that's ok ladies. i was a bit put off by the label when i opened up the package....but i figured that since i got the bag at such a big discount with the comped suede, i wouldn't bother complaining about the piddly label...

i'm glad NC is emailing them about it.
