Man, I took pics of my petra and now I don't know if I left my camera cord for my laptop back in Boston! It's very late so I will think this through tomorrow when I am not so tired but I am not finding it although I seemed to think I had gathered and packed it. Man! Sheesh.

LOL! Yes! I've been trying to figure out how to post without confusing the crap out of everyone! Geesh!! But I'm kinda happy about the situation personally as that new orange is closer to the Hermes orange I've been dreaming of! haha!

No... just tired and busy. I'm out tomorrow to finish up painting and installing fixtures in the bathroom, so I can tile and do the vanity Sunday, to be done on Sunday. Crosses fingers. So, I didn't pop on during my morning snack or during lunch. Just getting stuff that has to go out by the end of the week done today. But, checking in now- hi ladies!

ha ha yyz, well-put! Well, I was really surprised how much people were arguing with the Choo ladies...I mean, I can see both sides but I totally understand how a Choo fan would feel. I mean, a diffusion line is one thing---I buy Michael Michael Kors clothes and have really liked them, and I buy Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes (or whatever the name is---they are still totally expensive, though!). But cheap ass stilettos, that's a whole 'nother ballgame. I liked the comparison to BV, and I think the BV apporoach is better for protecting their reputation. 'Course, the masses are more likely to know of Choo than BV, imho.

TL: I thought you were clear but it's a hard concept with so many leathers in the picture!! Great resolution, I was afraid people would get scared and drop out of the order!!

just had a look, interesting thread!
I agree that after a price point you are just paying for the brand name/exclusivity so it will put you off to see it diluted
as for that being shallow, well this whole business of shoes, bags, clothes is shallow and superfluous after a point of time come to think of it

it's the quality and the beauty that earn the name its reputation, then after that, yes, you go for the name. You expect to get the same quality and beauty, it's like a guarantee...although many luxury brands are cutting back on quality, but that's another story!!

You and me both! I thought, well, if it falls through I'll still go ahead and choose whichever leather I want! LOL! But 10% off and a free AP are really nice additions to the deal! I'm glad we got it worked out and so far no major flair ups over it!

Euridice, I am so excited about this orange bag! I hope it meets my expectations! And then a new make up bag from Ignes! I'm dreaming of tossing my cute little lipstick pink make up bag and cute little purple pouch in my orange bag and looking all summery! Talk about diving into color! I'm coming out of my shell, huh?
