Oh no, FT! Praying. I know some micropreemies who are doing well.

I have a copy of the application but need boss's siggy on it. The forms were due today, and it's my own fault for not following up last week. Of course, I call, the app isn't there, and email boss and he says he JUST dropped it off. Not sure what to believe.

FT....please tell ur friend I am praying and wishing for her. My BFF had a premie weighed a bit over a pound. She's 21, engaged, and in med school. There was a People magazine article about three weeks ago or so featuring tiny teeny premies all grown up.

I've been avoiding TPF like the plague because of personal stuff, plus avoiding temptation, the situation in Iran, life, plus this past week's news about FF, MJ, ED McM and now BMays. I had to post about this though.

Miss you guys. I'll be back soon..but in order to stay on the banned wagon, I need to a)Rehome and b)not buy for a while. So far so good.

XOXO

FT- Any updates? Will keep them in my prayers for sure!

NC- Any updates as well? I hope everything worked out!

GB- Keep it up! Luckily, the main chat's been "safer" as far as no new bag talk...but I think a lot of people have taken a vacay from here.

I am counting down the days...2 more until 3 day weekend woo hoo! Even better, work announced casual weeks until Labor Day, which works for me because most of my maternity bottoms are casual woo hoo!

Ft, I will keep your friend son in my prayers. I think 24 weeks is tiny and hard to maintain medically, but it is atteinable. I have seen small little froggies ( as we called the small babies) so cute and small, with lots of drugs, air support ect, that are very hard and continue figthing for their lifes, and then hey , they make so good grown ups!
sweet kisses for you and your friend.

It's a boy.

So far, the mother is fine, thank goodness.
I am so glad that the mother is fine! Definitely keeping your friends in my thoughts.

Saying a prayer for the baby and family, FT.

Hope everyone else is well. Busy here. Trying to avoid spending! I wanted a Virginia but not sure now, raspberry leather is out of stock. Good for my wallet though.

Thanks everyone.
Been a tense 24 hours for sure.

Update:

Baby boy came out weighing 1lb 12oz.

The little dude has already pulled out his breathing tube twice and breathed on his own without it.
He still has his teeny tiny oxygen mask on.

There is no fluid on the brain as far as the doctors can tell. (hurray!)

New mom was able to go in with him and touch him!
She will probably be released to go home tomorrow.
Baby boy is predicted to have a lengthy hospital stay - probably until the original due date.

With every hour that passes his chances get better.

The little guy is not out of the woods yet, but at least everyone is able to take a much needed deep breath.

That is wonderful news FT! They will continue to be in my thoughts. I was a preemie as well, although not quite so tiny.

Oh goodie FT!!! Horray!

So, not to distract from the baby, but I just got home and my dog has paint all over him. Nephew decided he'd be a great canvas. DH is giving the dog a bath. Oyy.

Thanks everyone, hopefully we'll be able to sleep tonight.

On a lighter note, I made a couple of things recently.
Hope you don't mind if I share.

Also opened up a photobucket account so this is a good excuse to try posting full size pics. :)

This one is Sand & Surf. We're going to Destin in a month and I can't stop thinking about the beach.

I found this fun Mother of Pearl medallion for a buck at a junk shop along with 2 smaller matching pieces that I made earrings out of - forgot to put them in the pic.
