No, I was told it was in production and I quote "they have started on it." Kindof hard to start without measurements so something is off here.

I was told awhile ago that my lilac bag was started already - and now they don't have the leather. In fact, I need to choose something else. With Jackie in Sweden, Maya & Rose in London(I think) and the atelier in Italy it is no wonder that things get lost.

I am sorry this is happening to you LL. That was a large deposit you gave them!

Jeez, that sucks Sandy. So they can't get enough of the lilac in even to fulfill the order you placed?

I think it is because they messed up Jenova's bag - they didn't do the 2 zips. They have tried to get more leather but it didn't come out right - it looked very light and wasn't pearlized. If they get it right it will probably be Christmas time so I gave up and am trying to find something else.

Did you get a swatch of the grey ostrich?

So they took the leather from yours to redo hers because a zipper was missing? That doesnt seem very fair to you. No, my lilac is very pearly. Both of them actually are more pearly than the swatches.

No, I just saw a pic of the ostrich. Even when I get the swatches for some reason the bag doesnt look the way I think it will turn out -- like the too bright for me pink TME I have. It looked much paler in the swatch I had.

They didn't tell me that, but it is my assumption as I am the only one that didn't get the lilac bag ordered. I guess I have learned to pick my battles. I will choose something from the new leathers. At least there is alot to choose from.

I do hope your ostrich bag turns out right! Your BE python bags are amazing!

well, sounds like they do have the dimensions, then! they just aren't posted on BE couture. I'm getting amaxi and need to know those measurements. Uh, my clementine/orange hold me is being sent in today...eek

Sandy! How awful! I can't believe that, it was ages ago, and I thought it as a known fact that the leather was limited. I think that is probably what happened, since they can't remake a bag with different zippers....I wonder what happened to the bag Jenova first received??? Maybe you would like that one???

I can't get over this, it would have been so pretty and special. Can you get your money back? I think you should for something like this. Or if you like the p ink I suppose you could get the pink....

Lionlaw, I hope you will be able to move past this unfortunate glitch and enjoy what I am sure will be a stunning ostrich bag!!! I'm baffled....

you know, my own rule is: don't make a deposit until you are sure things are going through!! That's my rule for a group bespoke. I am changing it to all special orders....show me the leatha and the price, then I'll deposit!! I hate learning lessons like these....

LL- WTH? That does not add up at all! It doesn't make sense when you outline everything. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I hope the price is going to be along the lines of the original quote now. I'm with Euridice though, I would just want out after the price hike and inconsistent communications.

Sandy- I had no clue you were still waiting on lilac. I understand there was a mistake on another order, but you have to make it right for both parties. I am sorry you've had to wait this long and have to make a second choice. Do you not want your deposit back? In my view, if they no longer have your leather, the issue is done. You placed a deposit for x and not y. You should not have to pick battles at all...

I'm just sorry for anyone having troubles with order issues with BE or anything other company, Ignes included if you have them. Shopping is supposed to be fun and stress free- not something to make you angry.

I'm so tired today and sore. Is it 6 p.m. yet?

What do you think of a tinted wine Emilia with a taupe bottom? Cool and warm tones. I can't wait to see duranie's mini E with the crinkle patent and may just copy her..teehee.

^726 is one of the cobalts, but is kind of stiff. I have that one at my house. Not sure which, I just asked for a swatch of cobalt a while back and was sent that.

It is a bit stiff ^^^ but it could be neat with tinted blue on a Luisa...cobalt trim. I suspect by October, I'll go insane and get Emilia AND Luisa. But then, if the right purple hits, all bets are off and it will be Cecilia.

^ Eeek. Was it confirmed? Have you heard from your buyer? I don't sell as much as the other ladies, but I would wait for the buyer to contact you maybe? Didn't you sell it a couple weeks ago? If I was the buyer, I'd have already contacted you. Any writing on the box- handwritten? Maybe that is the buyer's way of refusing it to get out? I know if a company sends me something wrong I don't write that though- I put return to sender. Weird.

MM likes the cobalt swatch of all the colors. He loves when Ignes sends us colors :)
