This is moving fast. I want to read at my leisure and post to all..internet connection has been hinky..mood is foul and I hate father's day with a passion for the past 16 years.

But I had to post because of LL's question about the BE price increase.

LL..never buy, write letters or emails, or make decisions while on pain meds..I have a BF on HH who went a bit berserk at one point..and if you ask Ms. Liz..she'll will not too gently steer you to the HH thread sometime in late January..during the Inaugral Sale I believe, where thank heavens I babbled but did not buy.

Don't write to the powers that BE yet..but IMHO..that's one heck of a wallop, amiga..one major heck of a wallop.

Matt..you have no idea what fun stuff is around...but it's really dicey to function normally..and often you think you are "just fine"..LOL..but trust me..if you read what one of my friends did on another forum..major CC damage..and my posts..(gulp)..at least LL is aware that she is "impaired"...me...I realized that I shouldn't buy but it didn't keep me from PWUI (posting while under the influence).

LL....ITA..with Matt..and about buying BE on Bonanzle..ditto.at least no duty, no agita, and you know what you are getting flaws, leathers, lining..no surprise me..((hug))

Whoa, nope, that is not a reasonable price increase. That's at least a 67% price increase, which is way more than "a little more". Even a $500 increase like No Cute threw out is a 33% increase, but may still be reasonable for "a little more". 67% is definitely NOT it.

I agree with gingey, though, wait till you're a little more lucid before sending your reply! Definitely stay firm on the fact that this isn't "a little more", and see if they can quote something lower or otherwise give you your deposit back. Good luck!

LL..I didn't mean to be presumptive..or step over a boundry..I mean well..and come in peace.

I just know how I get when I'm upset about something..especially when it comes to fairness, ethics..etc...I learned not to shoot from the hip when I am non compis to a certain degree..I usually type the entire email into a word doc..and walk away for a while..but you really do need to addresss this firmly and concisely..and not wait too long..me..the mood I'm in..I am off that forum for good..and won't buy anything else..

LL..I just met someone in another group who is having issues with her first bespoke..first BE as a matter of fact..she was added onto a group I think..she's young, and this was her first BE..and she did the whole bespoke thing without knowing what she was doing based on photos.and emails..no swatches..nothing..she wasn't offered any swatches and didn't know enough to ask.

she's not a TPF member yet..she's really upset and angry..and while she has heard from the powers that be..she wasn't exactly correctly informed why she got the wrong color, wrong modifications..I don't want to post all the sordid details here.....and hasn't gotten an answer to her last email..I can't say anymore here..

hmmmm...maybe she needs to vent here..certainly not there..that thread is dead..I can't believe there are no issues at all...KWIM?

Hi guys! I took a sabbatical from TPF, but I'm checking in. Too many new threads, don't know where to begin, lol!

Ignes is bringing out a new makeup case/clutch, I want one! I am trying to be good, but it's just a little bag, right? I have been trying to be good and focus on other things like work, getting organized at home (which of course seems to cost $, too), travel. It's so hard to be around here and see reveals & sales and not participate.

So, what's new? I see talk of meds on this page, hope everyone is doing ok.

Hi, kuwa, welcome back! You've got to stop leaving without saying goodbye, girlfriend. Just so we know you're doing okay. Anyhow, there's lots of fun stuff to read, I'm sure!

I for one am really curious to know what you are up to at home, not to mention travel! So, it's really okay to hang out and have fun with us without buying bags. Several of us are trying to be banned or at least
"mindful"---even have a thread for that! elizat is doing major home improvement, which is a lot of fun to sit in a comfy chair and read about, lol!

well, I can't put it off any longer. Just got back from having a bagel for b'fast, had a lot of coffee. I must go OUTSIDE!! And face the nature that is running rampant out there in my yard. I planted a second patch of perennials, and from my window it looks pretty good. But first, to mow the lawn!! All this rain, I swear!!

E, I too need to face nature but nature has thrown us a bit of a rainy day so I must stay in and watch nature wreak havoc on my garden! It needs weeded so badly! I am a neglectful gardener! Good thing I haven't raised my children the way I'm raising my garden! Truthfully, all I wanted was tomatoes and a good friend went way overboard and put 30 some plants in for me! LOL! It'd be great if it'd grow without me paying attention to it! hahahah!! But it'll have to wait for another day. It's 70 today, 90 tomorrow! ICK!

yes, neglectful gardener, that's me. Only gardens are generally fine but if weeds and trees are taking over, then that is more like a neglectful wilderness clearer!! 70 is great, I'm jealous. 90, that's the pits!

taking a bit of a break....it's only 80 but it feels so HOT as I try to weedwhack the tall grass without whacking things like plants or cement or whatever, lol!!!

Thanks everyone. I wont post the details here, but the response I got is not satisfactory to me. I have emailed again and am trying to resolve it amicably but I am very disappointed at this point.
