Yes, I've stayed away because of these issues though I've not experienced them myself but didn't want to chance it. I've purchased 2 mamm's so hopefully those will be OK and now the paper plastic wallet which should be fine too! She does have some nice leathers though!

Yep, well, I am just waiting the horrible UPS to deliver my special order MAC, it was ordered like a zillion years ago ( actually 4 months). it is black, with silver HW, black and white floral lining ( hate the new RM lining with the blue stripes) and adjustable chains. I ordered it after the broken chain debacle, so we have been reassured this issue is fixed.

and this morning I have ordered a hold me in orange ( copying euridice and tloveshim) and the free AP will be the black pebbled I wanted. so now I think I will have the make up bag set , I can use it for travel and can also use it to keep my things arranged at the hold me.

Colette and I are heading to Kansas City so I can go window shopping/playing for some Basses and look for some Computer parts!
And yes I'll take her Shopping as well!

you ordered it from RM? I assume with a special deal on shipping, since they are crazy high on international shipping??

I hate the blue and white stripes, and they put it in everything all the time! Why?! WHy?! Why do they do this? It's that way in my black and white woven straw belle, ack!! It so does not go in that clutch. the black and whilte floral or mosaic would be an interesting play on prints and textures, but the blue and white just stinks!

I was going to Ignes website to play with combos, and can't get the discount "select your bag" feature to work.
It won't let me choose a bag.
Anyone else having this problem?
Or is my computer helping me be a mindful lady.
(Actually, if it would help me be ANY kind of lady, that would be a good thing)

Ok I confess - I got caught up in the RM thread too and bought a lapis Nikki.

Bad GP! I was never a huge fan of the Nikki until I tried one on IRL for the first time last week at Saks, and it was instant

so i really really like the royal purple leather. i just got a sample of it in the mail yesterday. i was thinking of using this leather for a fall order of the mini-chiara (not the current summer sale) i think it would work really well with the midi-sophia w/ sandy chains. but it sounds like sandy chains will no longer be an option. and maria also mentioned that this leather is really popular right now and therefore, she may not have much left in the future. so what do you think of this botkier for the fall instead of the mini-chiara in royal purple? i like the chain detail...and the ruching in the front is really cute. should i hope for the royal purple to still be in the fall, or go with this instead in the fall?

GP, Nikkis are nice! I like the mini nikki but have refrained from any purchases. That blue/white striped lining helps! I love the yellow nikki with the black and white floral lining! But I keep telling myself NO!

YYZ, KC is a mere 8 hours south of me! Happy shopping! I love KC! It always looks so clean and nice when we pass through there!

NBL, glad you joined us and are going with Euridice and myself! We are gonna have some hot bags! Hope your MAC arrives soon!

Thanks E! I agonized over which blue to buy for a bit and I am super excited to see the lapis IRL - they can't ship it fast enough!

They had one Nikki in peacock on the sale table at my closest Saks, but it looked almost identical to my sea green MAM so I passed. I am really excited to get my Nikki! Since I am a RM sample sale newbie I have to ask - do they really take 7 days to process and ship sale items?

GP, I only do in-person sample sales. LOL!!! I couldn't resist that since it was just so exciting to have the DC sale. I don't really know. I did get the peacock nikki (gorgeous and soft, but it stained from a few raindrops, boo!) from their cruise sale back in teh spring, and I got it the next day!! But with teh server crashing with the stampede of crazed minkettes, it might take more time...
